Aw thanks! Yeah it's always fun updating it and seeing it show up in google searches, hehe.
Cool! I'm going to attend as are a few RHLC-ers here. It's very exciting!
Oh man that stinks, I never got to see it. I can't believe how bad it's getting. At least in the 1930s people had the golden age of Hollywood to escape to. Not sure we have the equivalent these days. Still, at least we can look back and enjoy the past. I'll probably end up buying the Avenue Q...
Yeah The Undiscovered Country was a wonderful film and definitely should have been made. Though I do feel bad about how some people involved in the Academy story got treated badly (at least that's what the book claims, you'd have to read it, heh).
It is probably too late for DS9 to do a movie...
Yeah and like I said in the other thread (hehe), it's a good lesson for anyone in a time of mourning. Instead of just being sad, be inspired by how your loved one lived their life and affected the people around them. :)
Well that's certainly true, hehe. ;)
I have this conversation with my Dad a lot actually. He thinks nitpicking is kind of an insult to a movie, because he thinks you're missing the point of the story. I try to explain that it's not meant in a serious manner. You're not making fun of it because...
I'm surprised I actually do enjoy TP's commentaries as much as I do, lol. I don't mind parody humor like that if it's at least partially in good fun (and you know, if it's genuinely funny ;) ). It's weird but you can love something, and still laugh at the inconsistencies.
But like I said, I...
Yeah my friend said the same thing about TP's commentary of The Christmas Toy, lol. Most of the time I enjoy the TP commentaries a lot, but so far it's been books I've never seen before. So it will be interesting to see how this one feels, hehe. :super:
Well it does sound like there might be a book signing after the event, so that's a possibility. And at least he'll get to see them at all, that's a rare opportunity in itself. :)
I believe the partnership is $1400 at least. The info was here: http://www.wpunj.edu/dls/Partnership.cfm
When you buy tickets, there's a "meet the guest" option that's $500 (which is still too much for me, lol).
Lol, I really need to watch that episode again. "Pick me up and lay me down and spread the news all over town and tell them all to come or they'll be sorry! Pick me up and shake me twice I'm coming back from paradise, this poor boy is here to live in glory!"
Glad you liked it! Fer sure, it's...
Aw thank you, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! : D
Aw it's OK, I nearly did until the other day. It's not just one day that matters anyway, but the whole life. ;)
I remember when TP's Book Club covered The Cookie Tree; so funny lol. And you know I was looking at my official Preschool photo the other day and recieved a shock. They had us each sitting at a table with a book open (so it looked like we were reading, haha ;) ). And I now notice I was sitting...
I know! I saw a Muppet related comment by this person on another myspace page and he/she had the photo of Richard and the kids as his/her avatar. It was really small but somehow I had a feeling it was of Richard, lol. So I clicked the name and found this. I was like "You're kidding me right? !"...
Remembering you today, Richard, and grateful we still have so many opportunities to enjoy your work with the Muppets. ;)
I'm reminded of a poem I once read in a magazine that reminded me of him and the legacy I think he left behind:
"Now that I am gone,
remember me with smiles and laughter...
