Actually, they did have quite a big part in MWOO. Remember they were working for the evil witch (Miss Piggy), but after she melted they became good. Sorry if I'm giving away any spoilers for those who haven't seen it.
That would be good, Gonzo. If it shows Miss Piggy's first season look, the sketch would probably be from 1976. If it's possible, maybe you could put up some other pics from that sketch so we know which one it is. Just a thought.
I'd go with (A) at least for the first season. I didn't see the second season eps since I didn't get Disney at the time. Hopefully, they'll release those on DVD or maybe at 'You Tube." They have a lot of good clips from the show there, so hopefully they'll put up an episode or two.
Yeah. I think that was one of the main reasons. Many sources say that Frank hasn't been into it since Jim died. In fact I could picture the poor guy in tears after Bert and Ernie's "Things I Remember" song, seeing all those clips of Jim's Ernie. Still, it's good to know that he's alive and...
Yeah. I wondered about that too. They really should have had something like that at the end of the episode though. It was good to see it at 'You Tube.'
Yeah. It's been said that "Don't Eat the Pictures" might not get a DVD release because of the 'imaginary Snuffleupagus' references in that one. Still you never know.
Originally played by Bill Irwin? You mean they replaced the actor. I knew Michael Jeter passed away, but I thought Bill was still around. I'm kind of confused here.
Also, something I want to point out is that they showed a clip of "The Electric Company" on Ellen today. Morgan Freeman was a guest and they showed a clip of him bathing in the casket. Just thought I'd mention it for anyone who missed that.
Well, that's good. That means he might be around for a while. I really wish I got TV Land so I could have seen it. Sounds like I missed a lot. Hopefully, someone will post some clips of that on You Tube.
Well, they tend to delete a lot of stuff. Heck, there was one I missed about :p trying to sleep in a thunderstorm where he mentions Olivia and David. I guess it would be a good idea to check with the administrators and see if there's anyway that we can access stuff that's not there anymore.
Hmmm. How did that dancing Statue of Liberty closing go again? That one escapes me since it's been so long? Lol. I'm only kidding. I know that's the one they still play today. Anyway, it was good to see the closing with Barkley at 'You Tube.' Though, I wish somebody would put up the old...
You haven't checked out that site yet? I thought most MCers are pretty familar with You Tube. I mean I'm not putting you down or anything. I'm just kind of surprised. Anyway, just type in www.youtube.com and type "Sesame Street" in the search engine. Unfortunately, I don't know if the...
Well, this isn't really anything new. Actually, Cookie Monster's "Healthy Food" rap came out sometime in the 80s. So for the most part, he's still himself. He just sets some boundaries.
Well, Frank actually didn't participate much on the "Muppets Tonight." Most scenes with his characters were either inserts or dubbed over. Besides, anyone could have performed Mildred. I heat that in the first season of TMS she had been performed by Frank, Richard, Dave and Erin.
Yeah. I don't remember his street scenes, but I definately remember his song. About, the part with spaghetti. I guess they did that to make it rhyme better. I don't think they were implying that it wasn't healthy. Still, I agree that they could have come up with some better ideas there...
Actually, I remember the real sketch that appeared on the show. It seems like Mad TV reversed Ernie and Bert's roles. I'd like to see that one as well.
