Yeah. That's actually the one that they played when I watched the show as a kid with BB showing the kids stuff in his nest and one of them was the alphabet.
Gosh, I don't remember too many. Just that one and one where Ernie kept having Bert go outside to check on the weather and when he got tired of doing that, they invented the window so they can see through the wall. If there were more than these two, the rest of them escape me.
Now that I've seen this on You Tube I can comment on it. I thought it was real good, very much like the old Twiddlebug sketches. As for the CGI, I guess it was okay though I didn't care much for Thomas's mustache. The new voices were really good though. You can hardly tell that it wasn't the...
I'm guessing it was the first season since Big Bird had more of a dopey voice at the time. I heard it on MC Radio when he asked Susan and Gordon what it was.
While we're on the subject, I saw a sketch on You Tube the other day with Elmo singing it to Preston Rabbit. That was interesting...
Yeah. I'm the same way. I remember quite a few Brian Muehl Telly sketches, but I don't remember the difference. It's too bad the 'hot' sketch is the only one of those on You Tube so far.
Probably the 80s since Henson voiced Ernie. They did play one of those this season, the one where Ernie used the other side of his drum as a garbage can.
Well, she was real friendly. What I liked was that they mentioned the baseball playoffs with Miss Piggy at the diamond. I wonder if they had "The Great Muppet Caper" in mind when they used that joke.
I also liked Kermit's interaction with the kids. It reminded me of when he used to do that...
Hmmmm. Maybe I should check e-bay. I'd sort of like to have a copy of this one. I'd really like to see some 'imaginary' Snuffy references and hear Brian's Telly. They do have the opening to this movie on You Tube, but that's about it.
I was wondering about that too. My station's weird. It's playing the one with Abby going to school on Thursday. (A repeat, but one I haven't seen) Then it's playing the one where Elmo learns to use the phone on Friday. I don't think that one has been aired anywhere yet, but correct me if...
I remember one where he tried to show the Two Headed Monster how to draw shapes with their finger, but they ended up drawing scribble-scrabble. That's about all I can remember of that one.
Well, I wouldn't count the first season one, since that wasn't the official 'Grover,' just more of a 'proto-Grover.' Anyway, I've thought of that too. After all, in the 36 years that Grover was around it's hard to believe that Grover never said 'don't' or 'can't.' I can imagine Frank or Eric...
Yeah. Plus, my station will probably air the eps from earlier in the season next month, (The ones they were supposed to play this month) so I might have to wait until December or January to see the eps that are scheduled for November.
I have to agree there. Especially, in the scene from FTB when he told Big Bird to jump off the truck.
Big Bird was concerned since he was told never to jump off a moving vehicle. But Gordon convinced him too do it. If not, he'd still be in the sleaze brother's cage as we speak.
I don't know exactly. But I remember the first time I heard it. Snuffy was showing Gordon and Linda his "Snuffleupa-bus." The driver called him Aloysius and everybody on the bus called him "Chubby." Then after all that, Gordon and Linda missed their own bus. I realize that doesn't really...
That's true. Other than the street story, the only new sketch was the one with Cookie Monster and the apples. You'd think he'd know what an apple is by now. I did like Luis getting pelted. It's like those Road Runner cartoons, when Wile E. Coyote sets up the catapault. No matter where he...
Okay. I think I'm getting caught up, because according to what I read on the web, my station would have played the 'hair' episode yesterday. I'll probably see the "What Comes Next Pattern" game episode today. It's a shame I missed the Grover/Fat Blue scene though.
This is getting a bit off subject, but I'm guessing the Guy Smiley game show about the letter E was Prarie's first appearance.
I can tell that, because I saw it on YT and she looked quite different. Besides, a modern Prarie would definately know about the letter E. (Hence her job in...
Wow! I didn't know that. In most recent episodes I've seen, they end with Trash Gordon, unless you're thinking of season 34 before that segment started. I sort of thought since season 35 the only ones without Trash Gordon endinds were the two-part eps. (Ex: Snuffy's magic ukelele, Little...
Actually, I thought they were doing pretty good with Alan. He was busy working at the store in quite a few eps this season, such as the one where BB wished the adults were kids and when Elmo wanted to play school. Then again, I missed quite a few eps this season so I don't know if he's been...
