Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

Chill, man. It's not the end of the world if I don't see them, and whatever material worth-watching from is already on the website. It's just a noir spoof in general.

TV Alert: The Muppets on "Good Luck Charlie" Season 4 premiere April 28, 2013

Having the Muppets actually appear as themselves wouldn't take away the realness of themselves; it takes away the realness of the actual sitcom. Read this page at Muppet Wiki: http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Appearances_in_outside_fictional_universes

Yeah, he also writes for Sesame Street, making "I Wonder" and the "Elmo the Musical" theme, which are both at high ranks on my list.

Thanks for the info! Was Steve performing Kermit with his left hand for this? It looked that way and would explain the apparent wonkiness others have mentioned.

Seriously, Sesame Workshop? Where are your lawyers?

Looks like they've added another Sesame character, albiet from a co-production... https://twitter.com/ToughPigs/status/329653694733877248/photo/1

    2013 Daytime Emmy nominations

http://www.emmyonline.org/mediacenter/daytime_40th_nominations.html Sesame Street has 17 nominations; Pajanimals are also nominated. The main thing I care about is the songs, which are "Belly Breathe" (which I knew would be nominated), the "Elmo the Musical" theme and the "Queen of Nacho...

    "Dead Puppets Society" Appreciation Thread

Herry still appears from time to time (like the Sandy Hook benefit concert), unlike, say, Herbert Birdsfoot. But, watching that video, I really wish they gave Herry longer arms; he's got a T-rex thing goin' there.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

Oh yeah, it had the opera beaver in it. I was hoping for the car mechanic one would be included, since the theme of the episode was music (It's also one of my favorite ones).

Poor quality, but: Really? Miss Piggy going to attack a four year old child? Boy, they sure got her character to a T.

TV Alert: The Muppets on "Good Luck Charlie" Season 4 premiere April 28, 2013

It's probably not a Muppet; it's a contrast to show what types of things Charlie and Teddy are into (Charlie simplistic, child-oriented entertainment and the universally appealing Muppets).

TV Alert: The Muppets on "Good Luck Charlie" Season 4 premiere April 28, 2013

Not a bad song; I liked the short TMS-style introduction they had on the television. But, c'mon. Can Piggy not live in 24 b*tch mode please?

Disney has a live stream on their website. I'm an Optimum user, so I could get it; I don't know if the rest of you can.

    Recasts for Fraggle Rock movie

I'm tired of the "Oh, Matt should have all of Jerry's characters" argument; it's completely invalid. YES, Jerry hand-picked him to take over his characters. But let's look at this: Steve didn't Rowlf or Dr. Teeth; he wasn't ever recasted as them. Heck, David did the Swedish Chef in MCC. Steve...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 43

I know how Joey Mazzarino has the notion to make the parodies more current, but they still do an entire episode spoofing the Music Man.

Warner Home Video now distributing Sesame Workshop DVDs

They did the same format of two full episodes last year with "Elmo's Magic Numbers." I think the main format the DVDs are going for from now on is having virtually no original content, so they can get their monies worth from the newly produced material. Though, last year, three of the six DVDs...
