I'll have to agree with you. It's rather bad form to fire a Muppet. I just thought Pepe left because he was tired of being dipped in the tartar sauce.
Disney has time and again exhibited a lack of respect for Henson and do not seem to understand their heart or appeal. Funny that they may end up being their reason for survival, though I hope not.

Stulz was influencing a censorship of discussion and I responded to it respectfully. I see no hypocrisy or anything wrong in that and there is no need to chastise me for it. Chill, dude. It seems that people are disregarding his post anyway and Ken has stated he could care less. And...
We discussed this last year when Bunsen and Beaker came out. It's good to hear they have been restocked. We all were wondering about this and I think I may have been the first to report the pic, but others noticed it too. There is no Pepe now, but there were some rumors that one would be...

I think you have the situation entirely wrong. I think the idea f Disney being the victims of some sort of blackmail scheme is completely laughable.
Once Jim died, Disney chopped their asking price substantially and attempted to bully the company into completing the merger. By...
I doubt Greg the Bunny's international success, but I didn't expect it would have this much appeal so who knows. It certainly wont' be on par with the Muppets overseas.
I can't help but think of Greg as competition, but maybe it really is just another Fox program. It's not like the Simpsons...
Never thought about Mahnah Mahnah's legs? I wonder.
About being a Muppet - when I was a kid and everybody else wanted to be doctors or firemen, I always said I wanted to be a Muppet. Some would say I have succeeeded!
Very cool. I wonder who will perform Piggy in the new show. I don't much like Eric's Piggy because she sounds too manly, but maybe it will improve in time.

MC is notorious for going off topic and the participants are free to do so. It really isn't necessary to censor other people or their thoughts. If everything kept on topic all the time this would be a very boring place. Please be respectful of others and their right to post what they...

Honestly, who cares if I'm being optimistic? It's much better than predicting its failure without firsthand knowledge and it certainly doesn't make me blind.
I think you are considering too much about this release. It is straight to video in the first place so there is little chance...
To request that Disney allow the two remaining Muppet films to be released in widescreen - the way it was intended - here is another address to write to:

NEW ADDRESS FOR DISNEY COMMENTS
Here is the Customer Comment section I think we have been looking for on this topic. If you belive that the films should be seen the way they were intended - please tell them that you want a choice between versions...
I am sure the film will be released either way. Such a petition just supports what version you would like. Personally, I won't buy some hideous cropped version of the film. I already have that version on tape. DVDs are for high quality collector’s editions and they are releasing a crummy kids...

Actually Arnie is the name of the alligator and Bernie is the name of the agent in The Muppet Movie, but many people get that wrong. I only know that because I've seen the film like 200 times in my life. LOL! I think it would be cool if Arnie made an appearance, though!
Don't...
Beauregard-
The fest pics only cover Kermit and not the other characters, but I'm sure we'll see some soon. There's apparently some commercial floating around.
By the way - I must make spelling corrections when it comes to the Muppets - it's Rowlf (not Rawlf) and Statler (not Stadler). I...
