Gosh I love living in Northern California. It has been absolutely picturesque beee-yooo-tiful for the last month or so. Man, what am I doing spending so much time on the darn computer?
Aw, ok Sarah! (btw, nice use of the word 'layman's terms...good to have high literary word users like moi!;) )
1. I found a fan made trailer that pardodies Star Wars(sort of) on Scott's(Scarecrow) new Muppet fan site. It coincidentally happens to have the very same themes Ive been discussing...
Couldnt have said it better myself Nate...that spretty much it in a nutshell. Yes first and foremost the Muppets are entertainment; but under it all is a basic philosophy of love, laughter, and imagination.
...now then, I WANT A CHOCOLATE BEAKER!!! MMmmmmm
Now that sounds good, Meee Meee Moo!
Yeah stick around kiddo...there is no denying this has got to be the friendliest forum on the internet period! And yes, I like everyone on here to some extent, even Mr. Toad^_^
Aw, ok. I was just curious, as so many of them made such a big contribution to the old MC and MC delphi forums. Heh, yeah I tend to forget about people's personal lives and busy schedules.^_^
Btw, sorry for the Subway reference...Phil, I just had to! ^_^
Heh, I thought Croonchy Stars was the only Muppet cereal ever(besides the Sesame ones) Btw, did you know Croonchy Stars was originally gonna be called "Stoopid Flakes"?
Yeah I got a few questions too. It deals with MIA folks, whos really who and here for what, and other things that need to be sorted out.
First off, that has to be the most aggregious thing youve ever said..ever. Yeah, ol Walt was a brillaint man...brillaint. And yes I agree JHC imploded from...
Man, always the great thinker Kev my man! Even if there was no live show(maybe a REAL Sesame live show?, not a bunch of baffoons in suits) Indeed, I think being able to talk with both the performer and their signature Muppet would be relaly too cool. thats kind of how I imagined MF for the gold...
Last time I got a continual fix of the Muppet Show was in the mid 80's when Nick had that Muppet mornings(with The Muppet Show, Muppet Babies, and that Andy and Randy thing)
Before then, I hadnt gotten a continual fix of the Muppet Show since its original syndication int he early 80's...
Well the new Muppet Show(of a different kind) premieres Feb 24th on the Learning Channel. (As well as Discovery Kids in March)
It's been awhile since the US last got an original Muppet kids show(not since Bear, and Big Bag in the late 90's)
Uk has gotten Hoobs, Mopatop, Construction...
First off, your site Back Stage Left is a GREAT addition to the Muppet online resources!
Second, yeah I found that on Scott's new site. Just thought it fit in so well with my running idea for a Muppet film(such a coincidence too! thats why I got a big kick out of it)...along with kind of...
Darn, that's borderline child abuse! (A kid without TF in the 80's, heck or Star Wars just aint right)
Glad ya had TMNT tho!
TMNT are baaaaack baby! This Saturday morning on Fox, woo!
(my birthday too! *yay*)
Now Im all for obscure characaters coming out, heck it is a darn dream come true to be able to finally have Koozebane and Lobster figures. But I draw the line at uber obscure characters like Pops, Wayne and Wanda, and Marvin Suggs...who are a bit boring and wouldnt have much sculpt appeal...
Yeah to me its no big deal because it looks alright, and second is at a regular price. Weve all seen some pretty s****y customs on ebay that were overpriced and looked like dog dooh.
But this guy should have made it with springs! Now that would have been some big street cred right there(make...
Well folks...after months of toiling around red herring buyout news, Fox show tid bits...all this time a Muppet film of epic proportions had been in the works right under our noses.
Aint It Cool News, along with Cinescape and IGN have just broke this news with a trailer, and it is simply...
Yeah that will definately be a S4/S5 highlight next to Pepe and Koozebane Kermit.
Now if only Palisades should realize they should sell these retail wise as a two pack(weve seen the wedding two pack, figures look great in this setting)
Sell em for $14.99, I think these would sell better...
Eh, such is why I havent watched tv in ages(cept for the occational Seinfeld, Simpsons, or Kin gof the Hill rerun)
All this reality tv, 'extreme this, extreme that' commercials,
tough guy rap metal/boy band/Eminem/solo girl garbage, MTV indoctrinating, terrorism, and crass addiction...
