Tux Kermit is a shared...
Spectacular!
Is it just me, or do these figures look better every new picure! Even the much debated hair-up regular assortment Miss Piggy has really blown me away. Wow!

I was thinking about an octopus for the set too. Very cool! About Robin, I think that it was expressed that he would come with Sweetums. I hope he does.

The list I have put up from 6-8 is listed as tentative, but are from collected posts and the extreme guesses are marked...
Though I am aware it is all tentative and things can change, I thought most of these ideas were pretty firm because they came from your posts. Well, playing by some of the rules, here's my list of what kind of makes sense and what I'd like to see.
Series 6
1 Nurse Piggy (Thought this was...
The Storyteller was brilliant, but the Muppet portion of the Henson Hour was strange and uneven. I wouldn't say that was Jim's best work compared to The Muppet Show, the Muppet films and Fraggle Rock.
The Muppet Babies - quality work? Okay, we obviously have extremely different tastes there...
I would have to completely disagree with you here. Even Jim had troube coming up with good ideas for the Muppets in the late eighties. The Henson Hour was certainly not a glowing success and there hadn't been a film since TMTM. I don't think you can solve this problem for settling and maintaning...
About the Muppet Babies
I really hope that nothing more is done with the Muppet Babies. They really took over the Muppets' identity the second half of the 80s' and they were only a tiny part of The Muppets Take Manhattan. Fraggle Rock really is the way to go IMHO!
My thoughts
I feel that the Muppet Movie series should be somewhat more abreviated because most of the figures have already been released. I also hope Pepe comes before any of the movie figures. This is a general idea of what I think deserve rentirely new sculpts and sets. Some things have been...
Nice job on the poster. I do object to continuing kiddie projects for The Muppet Show cast members. That's what Sesame Street is for. I feel that the Muppets are victems of poor management for the past decade and need to be reintroduced to the younger generation and then pull out of the kiddie...
Mahnah Mahnah would be on my list, but he requires a pack-in Snowth or two which I find unlikely for Palisades' perameters. He deffinitely makes my list, but not in these four. I do think it's weird that Angus got this sort of fanfare from the company, but Mahnah Mahnah keeps getting passed...
Hmmm. Could that be because people find cherry better? Grape was always my fave - and I never acrually liked the center of the pops. You could say I enjoyed the journey. Eeek! Too corny even for me! :D
Yeah, I like that seperate gown idea. More guys could be patients that way and it leaves that slot open for something else. Even though 2003 isn't in stone yet, it really seems to be pretty much formed form all the info gathered so far.
I think I missed the first post about it too, though I assumed that was what would happen.
On another note, it looks like the only unconfirmed characters on my list are Lips, Thog, Uncle Deadly and the Variant Kermit I listed in wave 8. I think something was said about a variant Kermit...
There seem to be about four free non-exclusive spots for the the Palisades 2003 line that have not received confirmation.
I have listed at www.jamesvier.com/muppets/figures
1. Lips
2. Thog
3. Uncle Deadly
4. Variant Kermit
Thog seems iffy unless they can switch out Pops to be carded...
Zack-
Ken just said,"...someone talked me into Fozzie as Patrol Bear being the better choice for a Bear on Patrol playset." It was in his post you just read. :) I'd say that means Patrol Bear will be in the playset. That's why I included this information in my chart. I guess you missed that...
I really am thinking that was Henon Co's intention all along for this project. Kermit's brand has is not as strong as it used to be so by getting the kids, they gain a wider audience. I just hope that it stops there. I don't want to see Piggy's Barn years etc.
