Kermit's Swamp Years Specs:
KSY will be a straight-to-video release that will have a widescreen option as listed at Amazon and The Cinema Laser. Is this true. One thing's for sure - this may be the best extras release even if the film isn't great. September can not come soon enough!

It's an exclusive, what's to hate? If you don't like him you can pass because he's not in the regular assiortment. You'll be able to see part of him I think. Not my fave, but a clever idea - and a save if the animal can't be done.
Yeah, the title is misleading, but the video special will debut this Sunday night on MTV2. Since MTV can't think of playing anything besides Road Rules reruns and TRL there's no time to actually play such specials envolving actual full length videos. LOL
Sounds great! Trading cards would be cool too, but I'm glad that the packaging is growing to include other things. Very glad about invisible Fozzie too! I mocked up a pic of all the figures together that I use as a screensaver. The Beakers aren't in it yet.
I know - those plastic fumes are an added high when unwrapping thes wonderful figures. It's so potent at first it almost seems like a spray-on. Well, I'm addicted! LOL
Ken - Just wondering if you have thought about making the wonderful info panel on the back into some sort of trading card(s)...
Ah, I get you. Yeah, people are sure opinionated. It's kind of like making a list of favorite to least favorite characters! Eeeek. Good idea though. We've done stuff like that before - especially with Muppet Survivor. I got flamed voting Mokey off. LOL! She's just too kind for such competition...
Everyone's saying that Statler sounds funny, but I think he sound's closer to Richard's verison. I think we're just so used to Jerry's Statler - who is great too, don't get me wrong.
What did you think about Fozzie. It took me a while to discover that both Fozzie and Piggy were replaced in this!
Dangerous topic? Don't get that. Such talk is what MCers do. Anyway, yeah - I get you, but I am also fairly confident that these characters will likely be represented yearly. That means more Kermits and Beakers etc. The question was more about which one deserves the most recognition and which...
Really? Very interesting. In my personal experience - I bought the Tux Kermit at a TRU store over three weeks ago and TRU/Amazon just sent the figure I ordered months ago. I'm out a lot of cash for the "quick" shipping too. Disappointing. The Tux Kermits were all the TRU store had too - and they...
It is inevitable that if the Muppet series of figures continues past the next few waves that top characters must be represented every year. This will mean variants not only as exclusives but in the regular assortment.
These characters will undoubtedly include: Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie...
Should get mine tomorrow. Already have one, but this one will stay MOC. I just couldn't help myself from checking in the actual store. Last time I order from TRU.com. I grossly overpaid for shipping - 2nd day Fed Ex - when that point is completely moot. It was in the store! Eeek! EB, on the...
