    Invisible puppeteers?

Seems like in cases like that, as primitive as it sounds, they use mirrors, and I think that's what they've done here - the planks and divide in the fence under the steps don't quite match the rest of the fence itself (not to mention it's not as shadowy as it should be), plus somehow, the...

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

^ I feel as though my previous post was a reply to someone else whose post was deleted, I'm not sure. But anyway, there's a moment in HOMEWARD BOUND where Shadow and Chance are running to reunite with Sassy, and at one point we see Chance trip/stumble/whatever and says, "Oop, gopher hole!" I...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Ah, not just me anymore. So, once again, I got a completely random and off-topic video in my recommendation: a 14-year-old girl who got herself pregnant, but it "made her smile," and when she told mom (who she's really close to) it "made her smile as well because she'll have her first...

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

I get the feeling this is the sort of music that intelligence officers would play to torture enemy terrorists:

    What made you think today?

Speaking of bullying, I've been seeing a lot of bully stories in the news as of late. Just yesterday, I read about a twelve-year-old cancer patient who always drew cruel stares from other kids because she was bald, frail, and sickley-looking, but on a positive note, one other girl reached out to...

Pamela Adlon (Bobby Hill on "King of the Hill") on NPR's "Fresh Air"

Both Tom Kenny and Carlos Alazraqui started out that way, and even brought this up when the cast of Rocko, along with Joe Murray, appeared on Rob Paulsen's TALKIN' TOONS, which was included as a bonus on the Season 4 DVD - in fact, Charlie Adler was the only voice actor on the show who had...

    Commercial rant time...

I don't think I've ever seen commercials for doomsday prepping.

Pamela Adlon (Bobby Hill on "King of the Hill") on NPR's "Fresh Air"

I think she was also a regular on CALIFORNICATION.

Pamela Adlon (Bobby Hill on "King of the Hill") on NPR's "Fresh Air"

I'm disheartened that she's pretty much been practically doing porn in recent years.

    Not that I can recall.

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Okay, so apparently, Climate Change isn't necessarily playing a factor in delaying September this year, it's apparently the fault of Hurricane Hermine pulling tropical air up from the Atlantic and leaving it behind in its path. Still. . . .

Your Favorite Recent Sesame Street Episodes

I know this thread is for episodes from Seasons 34 to today, but just for the halibut, I'm also going to list some of my favorites from Seasons 30-33. SEASON 30 (1998-1999) Episode 3786 "Welcoming Alan" - Alan was a wonderful addition to the human cast, and his introduction was a good one...

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

I think at least for the next two seasons, it partly is due to the fact that in addition to only 14 half-hour episodes, we're also getting two new specials as well - one of which is a feature-length TV movie about D.W. turning five (again, so apparently "D.W.'s Perfect Wish" never happened).

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

The number of episodes per season is being dropped from ten to seven. Not sure how they plan on spread that odd number of episodes out over time.

    When you need to RAVE!

Nintendo is relaunching the original NES! Sort of. They're launching a "mini" version of it later this fall with a number of classic cartridge games already preloaded into the system. That's pretty cool though. Even though we ended up selling our original NES when it pretty much became passe...

Ice Age: Blue Sky's Answer to Shrek?

I almost feel like because Ice Age surpassed Shrek in number of sequels that that may be playing a factor in while Shrek is suddenly being rebooted.
