While I can see why some people don't like Scooter's "Moves Like Jagger", everyone seems to be forgetting when at least a fifth of the musical numbers on TMS were topical, contemporary hits of the day. Heck, they did "Tomorrow" from Annie mere months after it came out on Broadway.
I'm assuming it's never been released ("Transportation" is the one) because of the music it uses in the "Tickle Me Land" spot (uses the Peanuts theme and "Chattanooga Choo-Choo"). I suppose they could've just cut it.
I've decided to abstain from watching any more trailers/promos/what-have-you until the movie comes out. Not even gonna download the soundtrack until after I see it; last time I got the whole thing before seeing it/listened to the songs on MC Radio. Not this time. It's all gonna be a surprise.
ALL of television can't be ending; that'd be insane. TV has been such an institution for so long, it's not going to disappear like that. Things are certainly going online streaming, but TV's not going anywhere for a short while.
Where would we watch sports? I'd rather not have to squint on an...
Wasn't it said somewhere a classic Muppet song would be covered in the movie? If the stuff with the tuxes and such is going to be the opening number, it seems like they'd be covering "Hey a Movie!", but called "Hey a Sequel!" or something like that.
There haven't been, at least, during the breaks I was actually watching.
I would wager there'd be one during the premiere of M11, since that's the point of the marathon.
Well, most of the edits were at the beginning; from what I could tell, I didn't notice anything cut from after Kermit's staff meeting.
And I'm assuming the edits on MTM are the same as the Hub version; they cut the curtain call after Manhattan Melodies the same.
I just finished the portion about the Dark Crystal. I haven't seen it yet, and I don't really want to (but I'll do it eventually, for Jim), but it's really sad how much heart and soul he poured into that and the so-so response he got.

And yeah, I thought it was odd they left out Big Bird and Granny Bird from the episode. But, there were Honkers, who I love and they don't use much these days, even in the background. And the...
So, new promo on Disney.com:

Some new clips, including a toiler humor joke I would rather see cut from the final product. But I really don't like this emphasis on...
