Yeah. It sounds like Sprout is more lenient than PBS with what they can show. If we have such a long wait for season 40 it would be nice to see more eps from that area, but I guess since the street was so different back then, they don't want to risk getting kids confused. I guess that's...
This was a good special. I miss seeing it on TV each year. Of course I could always spring for the DVD. Lol. It would have been nice if :p and :( were given speaking parts, but maybe the writers didn't think the joke would have worked if they had spoken or like others have suggested, it...
I agree. I even have him on the ignore list and I still see him arguing with people. If I were the moderator, he would have been out long ago. No offense to the Count or the other mods, but I can't help but wonder about that.
Yeah. I remember hearing Matt's Big Bird in JTE, but that hasn't been on the show in quite a while. I was sort of thinking that over the years Matt might have improved on the Big Bird voice as well as David with Cookie Monster.
Ssetta, I think you're being too harsh. I actually thought it was good. But oh well, we're all entitled to our opinions. So it was Carroll as Big Bird? I was wondering about that. I thought it sounded like Vogel at first, but once he started singing, I knew it sounded like the Big Bird...
Yeah, but if Oz wasn't available there, it could have been a recording. After all, how many other times have we heard Bert yell 'ERNIE?' Quite often, I'd say.
Just ignore him like I do. I don't even read the b*****s posts anymore. (Pardon my language, but he really ticks me off) I've learned from when I used to post on the WB message boards that fighting only gets people in trouble. If Bennedict wants to get banned for his :grouchy: attitude, it's...
Well, someone mentioned it to me. Plus I think I've seen that he was removed from the cast list at either the SW website or on Muppet Wiki. Maybe I'll check on that again.
Yeah. Poor Gordon is losing his family. First Susan goes down to one episode per season. Now this. It's mainly because Chris is on the show. It seems like he's the one in the Robinson family that gets the most airtime next to Gordon himself. Hopefully, Miles' disappearance will at least be...
Well, that's probably why they changed him into the kind blue monster we know and love today. I think the least likeable character for me would probably be the elephant, but I'll try to think of more ideas.
What confuses me is that I often see that 'se habla español' sign on one of the buildings and I'm thinking it's the Fix It Shop. When in reality it's really the laundromat. They must not have removed that sign when they changed the building. I might want to get another glimpse of the...
The only reason I can think of is that they need time to acquire the rights to each of the songs so they can show them uncut. That seems to be what worked for seasons two and three. Thank goodness we have the TimeLife set to watch in the meantime.
Yeah. I missed it too, but if the Muppets weren't in it that much, I wonder whether or not it would be worth it to see it again. If it is rerun at anytime, please keep us posted.
Yeah. It seems like there doing that a lot these days. I also recall Rizzo the rat being on a disk for a DVD of the Muppet Show, either season 2 or 3. Yet he didn't really appear until season 4. Seems like they want old school fans of the show to acknowledge the new characters as well. A...
Well, since TMS is more adult oriented than 'Sesame Street,' they might be a little more lenient on what they can or can't say or something like that.
I do agree with what you're saying though, but it does seem like other than in the nativity pagent they haven't really reflected God or...
Good thoughts, but Maria does still appear quite often. Susan and Bob are the ones we see less frequently. As for the Fix-It Shop, it has been seen a few times this season, but only from certain angles. I am hoping we'll see Maria at work a few times next season. About the laundromat, I have...
Not to mention Joe Swanson on 'Family Guy' and Principal Steve Barkin on 'Kim Possible.' I actually missed that SS ep. It was supposed to air on my local station last Saturday, but they played the shoe fairy ep instead. Seems like the online TV listings are still pretty screwed up. Lol.
