I . . . I actually don't know what made me think of this again, but . . . :sigh:
So, almost ten years ago, I found this Film School 101 production on YouTube called WONDERBANG ISLAND. Now, this was supposed to be an homage to H.R. PUFNSTUF, with a "what-if" scenario involving Jimmy having grown...
What are those commercials for with the really melancholoy female rendition of that Monkees' song "Something Tells Me I'm Into Something Good"?
EDIT: Never mind, it was on just now - Minute Maid orange juice.
I thought it was just Drtooth's traditional jaded cynicism, but I see there's tons of people out there with the same mentality who have pretty much given up on originality, because "everything's already been done before."
BINKY: Hey, Arthur, I know exactly what's wrong with you.
ARTHUR: You do?
BINKY: Here, have my apple. My mom says lack of roughage can make you cranky like that; an apple's a good source of roughage.
ARTHUR: I don't even know what that means . . . and I'm not cranky!!! (Storms away)
Well, I'm not saying that this should be done to convince people to vote for Hillary instead, because quite frankly, Hillary isn't exactly an ideal candidate for president either - as I've said, she's essentially the lesser of two evils, and really nothing more than that.
You know what I find funny? Conservatives' own stupidity and ignorance. I love how they keep complaining about how much crap has been happening in our country all these years, especially in the more recent years like all these mass shootings, BLM protests, ISIS attacks, and what have you, and...
Yeah, I heartell some people have been peeing on Drumph's star as well.
As for Ryan Seacrest, I can see that -- considering that, really, his only major contributions have been executive producing all of these Krapdashian shows, and being Dick Clark's successor, I don't see any other reason for...
I love the designs for this - the texture makes them look like actual puppets . . . makes me wonder how their mouths will be animated? Will they move like puppet mouths do, or will their mouth movements match their syllables?
Somebody evidently smashed up Drumph's star on the Walk of Fame with a sledgehammer.
Is it possible for the same person to do the same to Will Ferrell and Sofia Vegara's stars?
Why do they keep changing the title of the pilot? What's the deal with that? I mean, for years, it was always simply known as the "Pilot Episode," then they changed it to a few different variations like "The Chronicles," "Seinfeld: The Chronicles," and "The Seinfeld Chronicles." Now, they've...
I think part of it has something to do with royalties and such - it's apparently less of a hassle (and less cost) to use cover versions than the original . . . or, at least, that's apparently why one of our local radio stations always play cover versions of certain songs and never the original.
Our school systems let out in May. But, they also start back in August, and this year was perhaps the earliest they ever started the school year: it's usually around mid-August when school starts back, but this year it was the beginning of August.
Then again, I remember my last few years in...
Retail always has to jump on sales a season too early. It's like how immediately after Fourth of July, they already start stocking seasonal departments with school supplies.
But again, if you think this is bad, as I've pointed out before, Hobby Lobby will start carrying Halloween and...
