I don't have a preference on which one. They both have different formats that allow for different kinds of jokes. I love the "hit me like a ton of bricks" open from the Hal Linden episode and it's not something they could've done with Scooter in the dressing room.
So, season 2 debuts tomorrow!
I highly suggest reading the AV Club interview with the creator: http://www.avclub.com/article/gravity-falls-alex-hirsch-previews-shows-new-seaso-207536
I really haven't paid any attention to new SpongeBob stuff, and I didn't think a new movie would be any good since the series isn't anymore. I might see this though.

But, the Game of Thrones spoof is exactly how I think the spoofs should be. Like "Hill Street Twos," I prefer it when they stick the regular characters in the spoof. Grover has no business being in a Game of Thrones bit, but that's what'll make it so great.
EDIT: And...
I'm not even sure what Frank does these days. He hasn't directed a movie since 2007 and hist most recent gig was directing an episode of some show in 2011.
and Press Kit.
The good news: lots of cool stuff, TWO street stories with Ernie, lots of new Crumby Picutres, NO REPEAT STORIES
Bad News: The airdates are all over the place. The season finale airs...in JUNE. Oy.
I don't love the original song (or the band), but I do like catchy songs and that fits the bill.
I just hope that "blue-ish" background effect they put in isn't in the final version; it looks terrible.
Also, something I don't understand: some of those Word of the Day clips (Seth Meyers, Aziz...
