I tried to use a recent event as an opportunity to speak out about an issue that people like myself have to face, but it backfired horribly. Even so, I've been thinking about it more and more, and I've realized something that's just as bad, if not worse:
So, have you ever noticed that so many...
It's been years since they surfaced on the internet, but Davo just recently did this hilarious pic of art illustrating those "real" Muppet puppets that Jim Hanson and Fronk Oz actually used on SST:
D.W.: Why don't you wanna stay up? What are you really up to, Arthur?
ARTHUR: Why should I stay up? What's there to see?
D.W.: Don't you wanna see if there's nothing to see?
ARTHUR: I'm too mature to care anymore. (Leaves)
D.W.: Yeah, right. (Pause) Mom? What does "mature" mean?
You know what's sad that? That ours has become such a greedy, selfish, money-hungry country that there are people out there who are actually upset that there are some big retailers out there who are actually choosing to close all day on Thanksgiving. Why? No work, no pay. These people would...
Actually, Season 32's premiere was Baby Bear's birthday. ;)
This is one of the few Season 31 episodes I actually remember - to this day, I can still hear Baby Bear's voice saying "Lit-tle Muwway" in the back of my mind, lol.
Either they forgot to dub Oscar's voice at 0:33, or they just didn't bother, because it's definitely Eric, but it certainly sounds like Caroll at 0:51.
I'm not sure if this is true or not, but apparently, the word "meme" actually is supposed to be pronounced "me-me," because according to "history," the first ever meme back in the 90s was of Mimi from THE DREW CAREY SHOW.
I wanted to praise Louise Gold in this one, considering the British performer was able to pull off a convincing southern accent without it being such an over-the-top and exaggerated drawl like many people tend to do. Makes me think of how Cary Elwes can do a decent southern accent, but can't...
Benny sticks out since he was used beyond ATC - I'm pretty sure he was already in existence a couple of years before ATC, then made occasional appearances in the years afterward. Now, I believe he's being used as a local Muppet in an international co-production.
But yeah, Benny was always funny...
I only vaguely remember the Squirrelles - I don't believe they were too memorable as a kid, because it seems like they would stick out better in my memory . . . but then again, they were a product of ATC, so I mean, yeah.
Yeah, but there's something at play: your internet connection. Unless you happen to live in a populated area, or have a decent service, your internet connection may not be reliable or fast enough to handle such. Especially for people out there in rural areas that still use dial-up (yes, believe...
