Just like me, for example! I would NEVER...um...well, I suppose it's okay for me to do it, though, because everyone here already knows that "Fozzie Bear" is me. For those who DON'T know, a reminder: Kevin L. Williams.
Now, there you have it. In the meantime, there's absolutely NO reason...
As I was saying, they should jump RIGHT in here and post under their actual birth names, unless it's a different name than the famous names we know them by!!
And they should also get all their performer friends to begin posting. Yup.
Right Luke?
As far as I'M concerned two VERY super cool folks!! You were both right there with everyone who were just fans during MuppetFest and would sit and talk for however long we would talk.
Heck, you sat and answered my real, AND stoopid, questions for about 30 minutes.
Glad to see ya 'round...
They know exACTly what we post here!
Like I've said before, we joke and tease the company some, but everyone here would agree that no other company is as fan friendly as JHC is!!
I have to admit that I haven't been watching SS lately, so I'm not "fur" sure how often Cookie and Grover are used. I do think I'd love to see lots of the old regulars return, though.
Having just read this about Popeye's nephews, 2 in particular, POOPEYE and PEEPEYE, have you ever noticed how vile some of the shorter characters' names are?
Yogi Bear and Hokey Wolf had BooBoo and Dingaling, and there are others. I just thought I'd point that out, if you hadn't noticed...
http://www.popeyethesailor.com/club/opf9.htm
Is POPEYE in the Armed Services? "AN ARMED AVOCATION??"
(Is POPEYE Really Enlisted?)
I cannot recount the number of times that I have been asked about POPEYE's occupation?? Our Internet page has inquiries several times per week from folks...
I remembr Pepeye, Pipeye, and Poopeye (or whatever their names are). Those were in the earlier cartoons.
Lots of characters have nephews and nieces:
Donald Duck- Huey, Dewey and Louie
Daisy Duck- April, May, June
Mickey Mouse- Morty and Ferdie
Okay, so lots of Disney Characters have...
Within your speech, if you make mention of any particular performers, like Brian Henson, you might also throw in some of their repertoire: ie,
"...performed by Brian Henson, who you might not recognize as the puppeteer of Jack Pumpkinhead in the film "Return to Oz,"..."
You might also...
I'll tell you what, Mr. Rat, sir: If you'll tell us HOW to get outta this Labyrinth we'll not only let you have our autographs, we'll let you BE IN OUR SHOW!! Huh? How's that sound?
*And I HOPE Kermit will let us, I know Rizzo'll get a kick out of it--dunno about Gaffer...*
I think that for the most part they are very VERY hands-on at the JHC! I sent copies of the photos I had taken of me and the Muppeteers, etc, to them for signatures, and so far Charlie Rivkin has signed it and sent it back with a letter from his secretary on JHC letterhead, and Brian personally...
Phillip is OLD, man!! LOL!!
I'm turning 31 this month and...um...
31?!
Oohhhhh, my joints and back ache; and what happened to my vision--and, and...WHERE'S MY HAIR?!
 :boo:
Anyways, I still collect toys, books, comics, watch cartoons and read comic strips, play with puppets and...
Zack,
Glad to see the Rowlf avatar back!
Don't forget that...well, probably before you were born (I forget how OLD I am now  )...there was Popeye and Son, Pink Panther and Son, and a few other shows with "and son" attached.
I don't think we'll see Jetsons babies because Elroy...
Groovy. I think it's cool, but would certainly work better animated or as a sitcom. I think there are expressions you have to figure the characters are making in order for their words to become funnier.
In a few months I think, Byron. Start saving!
I've been trying to sell family members off into slavery for money for my figures, but nobody wants to buy broken-down rednecks anymore!
