Oh great! So all of the main characters are represented and I am sure some of the obsucre ones will be in the group shots. I really hope these are great pictures, not modern ones and not old grainy retreads. Something polished that we may not have seen before. Would have been nice to see...
I am certain that if you send a friendly email to Phillip he'd be happy to answer most of your questions. I make it a habit these days not to pay attention to angry, accusatory or ranting posts and he likely feels the same way. In such situations, it is best to be kind and proactive rather than...
Just one frogboy's opinion :)
I can't believe I'm posting in a thread that I totally don't believe in. I just don't buy this exodus theory, but everyone is entitled to his or her opinion on the matter.
Why do people get so passionate on forums? Well, there are a number of reasons. I object...
I saw all 6 Muppet films in the theater, Labyrinth and the Dark Crystal too. I also saw Follow That Bird - but drew the line at Elmo in Grouchland. Just not my kind of film, but I love the poster art and I did see it on DVD.
Cyndi drunk?
Cyndi was drunk? Are you sure? She is usually a very passionate performer with high energy. She has always been that way - dancing erratically etc. It could be easily mistaken for drunk. The falling, well - we all have our clumsy moments and she does tend to get involved with her...
Yeah, but the fact that Pops sings so much of Happiness Hotel, it stands to reason that would be credited. Just weird. I think they should have just made a generic cast list. It would have worked out better. It is a great release other than that.
I love the new Muppet CD from Rhino. I know that everyone would have done it differently but it is a great collection of songs. My only real issue is that Jerry Nelson is not credited in the performers section. Floyd is heard on some tracks and Pops sings half of the Happiness Hotel. How did...
I completely agree. It seems the Disney cheapquels are getting better treatment than Muppet Stuff these days. Argh! I am convinced there will be a boxed set someday. We may have to wait a few years, but we'll get it.
LOL! Eeeeeeeeeeek! It just bugged me because they had like 2 Muppet Show DVDs in the kid's section and all these boxed sets of all these other shows in a special section. :(
Say What?
Who said there was no Camilla with Tux Gonzo? I didn't read it in this thread. Am I missing something here? From what I understand, Camilla is a lock with Gonzo. That has been stated many times by Ken.
Awwww. I wish the theater were coming out sooner, but i trust this is for the best. Good thing that Statler ansd Waldorf are sold seperately. Just couldn't wait for them!
On another topic, the Dark Crystal is one of the most kick A dvds out there - and priced so low.
I really like the idea of a big theater playset. I'm sure it would be a big seller and a piece that any company would want to make in detail. It is the playset that I am most looking forward to. How can you have a Muppet Show series without a kick A theater?
The backstage doesn't really need...
Haven't bought the DVD yet, but I still have the old LD boxed set with many of the features and it is spectacular! I will pick up the DVD soon. That musical number isn't on the LD because it was created for the IMAX release.
