A bunch of the Sesame Street adult human cast (Luis and Maria were there too) just had walk ons on that one. Or rather Walk ins as they were all rushing into Hooper's Store. Any lines they had were part of the group or muffled by the crowd walla. Nice to see that most of them are still...
There are good, reasonable, non-hypocritical groups out there, but like most extremists they make the most noise and ruin it for everyone else.
Like we've said though, it's more of a political group than a fandom.
And for the record, I'm not going "Five Nights at Fozzie's," that's too...
The holdout episode of this season's first 5 will be released to DVD as one of the insufferable overpriced kiddy disks.
Much like PBS is withholding Sesame Street episodes to tie in with movies in May and June, they're pulling the same crap with this episode to tie in with the premier of the...
It's just a T.U.F.F. Puppy thing.

I have a much funnier, pun based one. I just don't wanna do that one yet.
Personally, I'm just glad we're seeing more classic character bits without having them rely on pop culture parodies or celebrities or both. Between this and the Cookie Monster and Prairie bit, I'm quite happy so far. Hopefully Ernie and Bert bits will pop up later.
I saw an episode via the first volume of the 70's collection (which, frankly, I enjoyed more overall than the 80's collection, but I only got that one for the Ed Grimley cartoon anyway and it was five bucks). From what I can gather there are 3 groups of kids. The older teens that do nothing...
Yeah. it's...it's weird. There's a Trope for that. Usually anti-Vegans will use that "Hitler was a vegetarian" bit to discredit them. It's just strange that an organization that values animal life over human ones use such a dumb comparison and unironically.
But yeah. The thing about Ben...
Way off topic, but while I don't dislike those moments, at least the funnier ones like that specific song, it does kinda take away from the show's illusion. It really takes you out of the moment and you know you're watching a puppet show. I enjoy it as long as its played for laughs, but I...
I'll agree to that. It wasn't a bad song by any means, but it felt shoehorned in. In fact, unlike the rushed pacing of other episodes this season, this one felt like it added in the song to make the street story longer.
I'll agree that the Mynah bird was obnoxious, but it seemed like that...
Ugh... I hate Amazing Chan. And I hate that one of my favorite M*A*S*H* actors wrote it.
Seriously. Jamie Farr wrote for the show. If anything could have gotten Klinger that section 8, it should have been admitting to writing that. :D
The funny thing about Josie and the Pussycats is that...
Oh yeah, he's definitely a kid classic character that hasn't been properly introduced to the American people for sure. There's a lot of context tossed out there when the character is only known through funny internet videos about toilet training. But several years back when someone showed that...
Man... an unfair, pointless rule that hurts people made by a Bird Supreme Court. There's a Scallia joke in there somewhere.
But it's great to see Big Bird back in action in such a big street story. And to speak to the credit of those certain episodes, Minnie the Mynah was actually less...
Exactly. I'm sure they didn't intend to have Mordie's parents come back too soon anyway. And I really don't think too many actresses could have pulled the mother off the way she was written in that episode. The doting yet young mother type.
But that last episode was something. They've been...
I'll agree that there are some shows that you need to grow up with to appreciate, and ones that look quite awful in retrospect. I'll also add that kids weren't aware of the insane level of censorship from pressure groups was at the time. The 60's Superhero cartoon movement was kinda the...
It made the dialogue klunky. Strangely, this crap was pulled with the second season of the current Pac-Man cartoon where they went out of their way to mention how healthy everything is. That, of course, was because of Disney's even more ridiculous standards of fitness bullcrap shoehorned into...
I've been saying that for a while. The 70's weren't that great for animation in general, with some strong exceptions to the rule. Hong Kong Phooey, like you mentioned, was easily their best show of the decade. It's like pre-Inspector Gadget Inspector Gadget type stuff right there...
It sure was. And Ed Begley Jr. as his father. Which is weird since they showed both of them in the Thanksgiving episode with different voice actors.
They're really blazing through trails this season. I've never seen cartoons slash and burn through status quo the way CN's shows are going...
The Muppets was as subtle with it as a brick to the head. It worked for the film, but it had the negative effect of film goers wanting an extra emotional punch. I liked TM and I think the tone suited the come back nature of the film, almost serving as an allegory for them struggling after Jim...
I kinda hope that they recast the character when Fran leaves. It really is a shame we don't see as much of Prairie as we should. She makes a great Only Sane Woman foil, especially paired up with Cookie. This skit was one of the more underrated highlights of the season, and I just love how...
Still, I can't get over Nina Needs to Dump has a legitimate, unironic fanbase.
I'd swear that, at best, anyone over the age of...what the heck age group is it even for... well, anyone over the age of whatever that is would find the concept so incredibly stupid that it would get a fanbase of...
