I watched that special recently on YT, and I thought it was hilarious, and still as relevant today! "We wish you a Happy Fridge Day/So come in and buy paint!"
And of all the Ninja Turtles the producers could have used, they picked Michaelangelo, the one who always has the munchies (particularly for strange pizza toppings). Sure, he was the most popular with kids, but they should've gotten a clue as to why. :p
I don't think Thumbelina was that bad. Sure, it falls too far into Disney territory (something that Don Bluth was against), but I find it to be one of the better adaptations of Hans Christian Andersen's story.

Brian and Steve from The Sarah Silverman Program are also two great non-stereotypical gay characters. They're just fat, nerdy stoners who happen to be gay.
