How's the weather where you are?

It's mostly clear today, but it was very foggy yesterday morning.

Is this cartoon really so bad?

Another cartoon that a lot of people really like, myself included (I recently got to viewing this one a few days ago), is Balloon Land. This is made by Ub Iwerks' studio, like Jack Frost. It's very wacky, surreal, and slightly dark, with a hammy villain to top it off. This should be right up...

Rewind Reviews: A Special Sesame Street Christmas

Very nice review. ASSSC is definitely the lowest of the SS X-mas specials, with its stronger focus on celebrities who have apparently been living on the street for a long time, as well as its clichéd Christmas Carol plot. Though it was pretty entertaining seeing Oscar jamming to "Yakety Yak" on...

Original Gordon from the Sesame Street test pilot has been identified

Wonderful news! I can now sleep a little easier tonight! :)

The "I Saw Something REALLY Weird Today" Thread

Carl Karcher is not a Jr. It's called Carl's Jr. because it was a smaller version of Carl's Drive-In Restaurants, which no longer exists.

How's the weather where you are?

Still more cold weather, with a generous helping of rain.

    Songs You Can't Stand

"Christmas Shoes" for me, too. I watched Patton Oswalt's hilarious deconstruction on that awful song.

Is anybody else just sick of Ice Age?

Studio Ghibli's films do a pretty good job of having Asians look Asian.

What would it take for you to stop watching current episodes?

Don't forget about yoga! Kids have gotta learn yoga, apparently! :D

New Toy Story Short Celebrates Kid's Meal Toys!

The Idol Happy Meal set may very well be the worst promotion of all time. Just watch and judge for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMidFJdLcSY

Is anybody else just sick of Ice Age?

I watched that special recently on YT, and I thought it was hilarious, and still as relevant today! "We wish you a Happy Fridge Day/So come in and buy paint!"

Cartoon all stars to the rescue.

And of all the Ninja Turtles the producers could have used, they picked Michaelangelo, the one who always has the munchies (particularly for strange pizza toppings). Sure, he was the most popular with kids, but they should've gotten a clue as to why. :p

Is anybody else just sick of Ice Age?

I don't think Thumbelina was that bad. Sure, it falls too far into Disney territory (something that Don Bluth was against), but I find it to be one of the better adaptations of Hans Christian Andersen's story.

Mid 90's Toons! (Tick, Rockos, Eek the Cat, Critic, Catdog, Family Dog)

Here's another show that got the shaft too early: Detention. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeOGxm44fiM Some people say that it's a ripoff of Recess, but Detention's theme about, well, detention, makes it very different. Sadly, this show got cancelled after only 13 episodes simply because it...

Nightline: Kevin Clash on "Being Elmo"

Gee, you think Richard would have been a great choice considering how energetic his other characters are, and that he would have passed on some of that energy to Elmo.

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

Brian and Steve from The Sarah Silverman Program are also two great non-stereotypical gay characters. They're just fat, nerdy stoners who happen to be gay.
