As far as likeness and sculpt, my top 5 would have to be, in no particular order:
Series 8 Sam, shifty more than regular
Series 5 Gonzo, though the nose paint wasn't perfected until later
Series 9 Pops. Perfect except for the lack of those tiny stripes.
Series 7 Jonny who just...
Well who ever does Rowlf's hands now (when we actually see him that is) should learn the paino. One time I saw the new Rowlf playing and it didn't look right at all.
Did you ever think the 90's destroyed you were older?
If you really look back at theo lder stuff they get away with a lot of stuff you could not get away with today. The difference is today you have parents groups pointing out every last adult themed thing in cartoons so you get the watered...
You are insane if you think THIS movie is what caused the down fall of society and will make the world end. Seriously, there was nothing in it that was that bad. It was rated PG which means it was up to parents to let their kids watch or not. If a 4 year old watched it all the way through it...
Is it now a running gag in the new movies that Kermit gets goosed? If so, I think that's kind of funny.
So is it official that Brian did not voice Scooter? I know he voiced Sal, but do we know he didn't voice Scooter? It sounded like it was dubbed later to me.
The Doozers mouthes moved using the radio control system. A performer put their hand into what looked like a puppet mouth and as the performer operated the larger mouth the smaller mouth would move. The same was used for the gorgs.
Walso, on the Jim Henson Hour and in Muppet Vision was...
Sweetums has become al ittle scary. I think it's the voice and the fact that his part is limited now.
I think bad editing is really hurting them uppets these days. Editing and directing. The ideas are there and the scripts are ok but when they get hacked by editing it creates a sub-par...
It's racist in that they just see black people and make a snap judgement that it must be the balck wizard of Oz and therefore not for them. And there was nothingf "urban" about the movie. For christ sake, it took place on Kanas and Oz, not a freaking city. To say black equals urban is...
A burp...you are so offended by a burp....
Well, I guess you never burp. I guess you never watched Sesame Street because Cookie Monster always burps when he eats cookies. So, it's not just "hollywood idiots" it's Frank Oz and JIM Henson who thought a burp can be funny too.
Everyone...
You are an adult who is far too sensative.
First off, if you actually watched the movie you would see that Dorothy learns that where you are does not matter and she decided that being in Kansas with her family is just fine. That is why she wished to gfo home in the end. Otheriwse she would...
Hmm...strange. I never actually thought about it. No one would seem right. It's like people that remember Jonny Carson and were introduced to Leno after years. Just doesn't seem right, yet people who only know Leno see nothing weird with it at all.
I notice the ones who are most racist are the ones that are compelled to say they aren't.
Fact is from the start there were people saying "we already had a black Oz" and "They are trying to get the black audience". Let's just say I think the cast is "coloring" too many people's view of the...
Listen, the Wiz is totally different than just having a black cast. To say they are the same just bexcause there is a black cast IS racist and you should be ashamed.
Well it is the Wonderful World of Disney and he is the one who intros it. You had to expect it to be there. That's like complaining that Jim Henson came in at the start of the Jim Henson Hour.
One thing this movie needed was more Oz animals. i think that wouod have pumped it up.
