Wait, so that ho hum muppets trailer aimed at little kids...wasnt shown for Cars 2? I thought that's why it was cut like that?
Oh man I cant stand Dreamworks animation or most other non Pixar animation.
Though I will say Im a HUUUUGE Monsters vs Aliens fan...sadly, their least well performing...
Well anytime ya guys wanna meet up in SF, Im down. I visited Jamies store in 2009, not sure if he still has it. But yeah we totally should all meet up. Im hoping another muppeteer does a q and a sometime there. I SO wanna go to D23 in anaheim if they have a whole muppet day
I have no idea where...
While I dont buy unofficial Muppet stuff(I guess they get away with it under "parody"?) I may have to buy some of those redbubble stuff. I just dont know how legally they get away with it(like all those unofficial mario or gamer shirts)
seriously banana, i'd just print out my own. I mean Kohls, Walmart and Target all have Muppet/Fraggle/Sesame shirts for $9, but these days I enjoy printing my own and using sticky paper or fabric glue on black shirts. I so wanna make a Digit or Big Mean Carl shirt
Hey I want to love Obama. I hate how the right wing criticizes him at every turn. I mean shoot, Obama means a lot just in that a black or hispanic child can see that the sky is the limit. Im just a bit offput by some of his decisions. Even Bush, whom I hated his policies, I liked as a human...
Oh Obama appreciates what makes DC special...wallstreet backing, corporate lobbyists, going on endless golf and vacation trips as the world burns, etc.
And this just in....44 more to go!

Oh of course, I was referring to the idea that the character should be permanently retired. I don't see how truly believing that is compatible with being a Muppet fan
I admit for the first half of the 90's I thought Steve Whitmire's Kermit was a bit off. But by MT I fully accepted him and havent thought much of it since. Much how I accept Eric has taken over Oz' characters.
But Jim WAS Kermit to me until I was 12, so for most my formative years they were one...
Well hey bro, I really wanted the FR animated shows(and you couldnt find those even just to download), and Lionsgates all "here's all the episodes plus extras for $15". Ive gotten all the Dilbert cartoons in one set, The Tick 2 volume, Pete and Pete, C.O.P.S., Alf Animated...so yes, eventually...
Oh I want them, definitely. I was happy when FR season 4 standalone came out. I didnt mean to seem rude to people, but "wheres season 4" is brought up on every muppet forum every day, and its like...well, you know how corporations work. I guess wish hard enough things come true, in the mean time...
Well James, you basically have a situation where its 2011 and they're using horrible cgi that makes Reboot look like avatar when it comes to that Mickey Mouse and friends or Tigger and Pooh cartoon. Where any sort of magic and imagination of yesteryear(ie: house of mouse, new adv of winnie the...
That's seriously messed up about not allowing Jewish or Israeli people on a plane. I'd be upset if it was blacks or Muslims/middle easterners getting the same treatment. Though I suspect Saudi Arabia is mostly doing this as some sort of salvou regarding the upcoming UN vote referendum regarding...
Whatt? No Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, Florence and the Machine, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Killers, Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, MGMT, Animal Collective, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend, Arctic Monkeys, Grizzly Bear, Metric, Muse, etc? I thought this was suppose to be a collection of hip newer artists? :) (maybe...
I'm still wondering what happened to Bear? That was a pure winning formula that could have gone on for ages, even in a slightly different formant.
The Panjanimalapals look vibrant, crisp. But I also loved the look of Animal Jam, despite the show being unwatchable drek. (Im glad Cowmonkey and DJ...
For everyone whining for the last few years "wheres season 4? Wheres season 4?"(****, where's season FIVE?)...unless you've been living under a rock for the last few years, Season 4 and 5 are widely available(rhymes with irateray and morrentz)
Ooh I know, taboo...right, well what do they expect...
@Dr Tooth: Have to disagree...a lot of modern kids cartoons are over simplistic, ADHD flash looking crap. Take any nick jr, cartoon network/adult swim, etc. All flash style, which began to creep in with power puff, dexter's lab, etc. Animation reached an apex with Invader Zim and not only never...
Ok, I guess I didnt know too much about Nader cept what I saw in a documentary and some other recent things he's talked about. Sadly often a message gets muddled by own's ego as you said.
It's true, you can eat as little or healthy as you want, but if you dont get much exercise...it won't be too good. I believe all able bodied people owe their bodies the ability to do regular exercise/walking/cycling/gym/etc
Now to DrTooth:
- I honestly cant think of too many cgi kids movies...
I agree. Jedi still has the same effect on me as it did in 83(tho even that has been all cg'd up...thanks Lucas!) But my mind is just not tricked or brought to a place of acceptance when theres a bunch of cgi in a film. I liked The Dark Knight as theres not an over reliance on that stuff...or if...
