Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
Except they never explored the character much. There was some good potential for that sort of thing, but the character was barely used. Rough puppet (her 17th century peasant clothes especially) and no personality measure up to a disappointing waste. I guess they felt the love triangle angle...
Well, they've started cryptically advertising Wabbit on Boomerang. Only one of them actually features Bugs coming out of his rabbit hole, and so far the animation looks decent enough. Too bad that's the most revealing promo they have.
The only things that continue to conflict me are the 9 month window (6 would be sufficient) and the half hour format. Now, obviously the half hour format was something I'd say PBS goaded them into, so HBO is completely blameless here. As I said before, on the one hand they edited the street...
Seems that any time they need a guy to voice a wacky character, evil or otherwise, they'll either go with Weird Al or Paul Reubens. Not that I'm complaining at all. Seems more of the Weird Al cameos are more tailor made for him. Especially MLP, Uncle Grandpa, and this one.
But yeah, he's...
Ugh... speaking of terrible professional animation, no sooner had I posted that than I found out about this:

Ummmm... really?! You can tell that even Hasbro didn't want to bother trying to get the rights to this, and it's...
Okay...weird news. Apparently Nick wants to revive some classic series
Okay. Don't revive old shows until you play with the cartoons you already have! I wanna see more Harvey Beaks and Sanjay and Craig, dagnabbit.
But other than that, I like the idea that they aren't necessarily...
I honestly thought there was one for Wander. Hmmm.
Wander is why I'm grateful for Phineas and Ferb. If it wasn't for that cartoon series, Disney wouldn't have bothered reinvigorating their TV animation line up after bombing the heck out of it in 2005.
Out of all the second season episodes...
You know, I don't even think complaining about these or lumping them in with professional level awful is worth it. These are terrible, and only exist to get some of that sweet, sweet Youtube partnership revenue and having their crap be on every search page for any legitimate form of educational...
At first I was a little insulted that Coraline and Paranorman had to be seen with the likes of Gnomeo and Juliet and the dreaded Wolf movie, but now I'm just confused. These films are all owned by different companies. I wonder why they sold them together.
Yeah. Rick and Morty is all about sci-fi fantasy going off the rails, and not always for comedic effect. The show embraces its own darkness instead of trying to get as many cheap laughs as possible. What we had here is a dark gag about how literally a machine can take commands, but it's taken...
How come no one mentioned this yet?
Sigh. If only that character had the same energy in the other interview spots, they coulda had something here. Still not really interesting as a skit, but a fascinating find.
Have to admit, if the nose were less small and the eyes were a little closer together, it would look a lot better. She kinda looks like a Bratz doll, but something tells me that's the point. Something tells me she's supposed to be a little vapid (didn't see the footage yet). If anything, it...
The problem is risk vs reward, and when they finally make the risk and get rewarded for it, they tend to be a crapload less risky. That's why CN's pretty much all day reruns of TTG. It's their highest rated series, so they run with it.
This is a long and winding discussion, but it always...
Rick finally meets his match and doesn't like it one bit. And of course, he's played by Colbert. I loved the various levels of hypocrisy, and Rick knowing how to use it to his advantage. I also really thought that what stopped it from going infinite was brilliant. Only Rick has the power to...
It seems to be the trend for cable networks, especially subnetworks like TeenNick to rerun a small fraction of the same shows rather than to have a greater variety. It's because they know they don't get good enough ratings to bother, and it's just cheaper to keep the same shows on a repetitive...
And Minions surpassed the 1 Billion mark and it didn't even open in all markets yet. Between that and Jurassic World, I'd say Universal has won the summer.
So, they apparently re-released Jurassic World to Imax (meaning that it'll add to its already huge gains) Unfortunately, my local Imax is...
