Interesting. So why misspell Manhattan when you know it's misspelled? LOL! Doesn't everyone have Microsoft Word or a copy of the Muppets Take Manhattan. Just a pet peeve of mine being that the city is the center of commerce and has been in the news every day for the past three years. :confused...
Yeah, that puppet was from the "trying to hard to be outrageous" Crank Yankers. What can you expect from a group of people that brought us the Man Show and Jimmy Kimmel's program on ABC. Wake me when it's over. The puppets are cool looking even if the humour is that of an elementary school kid...
Fozzie was already tooled to be a special exclusive at a store that dropped the figure at the last minute. Palisades just pushed Beau back till 2004. Not a bad deal and it strengthens wave 6.
I really enjoyed some of the very shows you think are the weaker ones. :smirk: Oh, well. Just like Fraggles, we are all special and different. :excited: I think Convincing John was one of the best Fraggle bits. I also liked the Red and Mokey bit too.
Can't get a better endorsement than that. I can't believe the film did so well. It's not number 8 on the top ten films of all time - beating the Lion King and Forrest Gump. Don't think it will bump the Two Towers, but it has gone leaps and bounds over expectations. :)
I'm excited. Thouroughly the first film. It seems that som held the original to the Disney/Pixar standard when the intention was to break away from the mold. Sequels are always tricky, but with a story like Shrek the possibilities are endless.
Unfortunately I just saw the Scooby Doo 2 poster...
The licensing 20 or so songs can get expensive. It's like dropping a thousand or two for each. That could get up to 40,000 for a ten dollar niche DVD. The Muppet Show eps are much easier to move and probably have fewer songs per disk. Come to think of it, that could be why there are only three...
Fantastic skit. Thanks for sharing it. I thought that song was in the public domain by now. The thing about having all these songs is that they might have to drop some to pay for others. Maybe they saw it as a weaker skit. Don't see why. That's the only theory I can come up with. It is a shame...
I can see how hard it would be to create a cover for the DVD. I'm sure there aren't many good source images. At least it is not misleading. They could have easily placed a modern Kermit on the cover with a couple of monsters and confused customers. It does look like a fan creation though. My...
Actually, that's what I like about the show. I just don't like the new trend for animation companies to scrap traditional animation. Spiderman has used 3D very well. I approve of what they're doing in that case, The final product is rather striking. I'm fairly well informed of 3D and traditional...
