To add a bit, the Star Wars stuff is also a totally different process. I would think it's a lot easier to make a light saber look the same over and over again than a Muppet made of foam and fur.
Question: Is Gonzo as far along as Animal? If not, would you guys consider releasing Animal...
Don't get me wrong, I wouldl ove to buy an illegally made muppet replica is it was good and cheap, but not one of these expensive things that aren't even real looking. Still illegal though....I would just be ok with breaking that law, though I'm not actualy sure if it would be illegal to buy these.
They are not hi own creations. They are characters created by Jim Henson and currently owned by Disney. It is illegal to sell them whether he says they are "real" or not. It's why companies like Master Replicas need to pay companies like Disney money in order to make and sell replicas. You...
Well I wouldn't be surprised if they brought him back some how later on. Superman was "killed" once too ya know. Cap. is like the Superman of the Marvel universe, or at least he was I guess.
Seems cool but I think in practice it owulod look silly. I would like to see them in highly populated aeras though maybe, like looking out a window oro smehting. Or maybe they could moutn a balcony somewhere and do it like that. They could heckle the crowd on long lines or something. They...
Well they are already in MV3D. It might be funny if Disney decided to add some kind of muppet theater to oneo f the parks with S7W doing some kind of commentary though. Of ocurse that would mean huge lines for a movie that lasts 90 plus minutes. I don't think S&W should be incoporated into...
I dunno. Seemed right to me though I did notice a few points where the voice changes, but that's nothing new. It seems that whenever the performers ad lib for al ong period of time they can't hold the voice as well, probably because they are thinking. I still remember the time Steve was...
He's not saying they are in jeopardy, just that a release date hasn't been set yet. I doubt they would go through all the trouble of prototyping if they didn't think it could be done.
You missed it. I think he was just there for the test which is over now. I wonder what the park performer will sound like.
I will say that it is hilarious that people said the voice was off. I thought it was off a little too when I thought it was someone else. Now that we know it was...
Wow, Dave is doing it? That's cool. So much for people saying the voice is off. :p Does anyone work Beaker? I read in another thread that Steve was there. Maybe he was doing something with him?
Please, PLEASE spoil the illusion for me! I assume that some of the lines are pre-recorded...
Cool. I wonder if they were there observing the mobile muppet labs thing just as Dave (I think) acted as a consultant when it was built.
I'm sure no one would complain if you wanted to post randomly in this thread until you were allowed to post a link.

There is another video here. The link was left as a comment on muppet news flash. It shows the device malfunctioning. Guess that's why these are etsts. It's neat, but weird.
