Any responses I received from Sideshow (years ago - about the Muppet busts) were either vague or kind of rude. My inquiries were always thoughtful so maybe I got somebody on a bad day. :grouchy:
:flirt: The MR people seem nice, but I don't think their staff size accommodate all the questions...
It's probably best for my pocketbook that these things take so darn long to come out. Trying for the positive here! So impatient...and I wanna a Scooter. ;) (Don't really know where that came from, but I do want a Scooter!)
I knew he was doing a part for the project and looked out for it. I think someone forwarded me a character jpg of him before seeing the film. :o
:attitude: Also - did you know Karen Prell puppeteered one of the lesser-known characters in Monsters Inc.? It's been a while since seeing the...
I'm not a fan of Howie or these types of programs (that I feel exploit people for the sake of money) but if Kermit's on it I'll watch. I just think he deserves a classier outlet with better talent. :p
I will say the game has more of an inclusive quality than others. It's more about...
I thinks it's far past time for an update. Come on MR people, please give us fans something...anything about the future of the line. I'm fearing the worst for Gonzo. :concern:
Thanks. ;)
Film rights - good point. Ya know, I wonder if many of the song writers and copyright holders with featured work in Jim Henson era projects are fussier now because they felt an "anything for Jim" sort of respect that they no longer hold since his passing? I have wondered that of many projects...
I remember Time Life doing some polling on Muppet Babies when they released the Best of Muppet Show collection years ago. I'm wondering if there are music rights issues with that? I couldn't think it would be anything else. Maybe the tape transfers look poor? But I don't think that would stop...
I remember Digit being continually pitched to Ken at Palisades by MC member and uber-Muppet-expert, Warrick. However, he wasn't the only one. I also thought he'd be a fun character to have represented in merchandise. But when Beauregard (probably the most beautifully sculpted character of the...
Oh, I'm sure the Muppet Star Wars action figures will come out. I have already seen the Disney classic characters versions with Don(ald) Solo. Very cute and actually well designed. Hope they don't lose that in mass production. Now, George Lucas' new Star Wars TV show... don't know if that'll...
Thanks! It's just so cool that new Muppet stuff is trickling out on store shelves. Especially Muppet holiday stuff. The Muppets used to saturate the Christmas season.
You know, I've always felt a little guilty about thinking the same thing. The Toy Story movies, while good (and did much for animated films and CG) are my least favorite among Pixar's line-up. That and the unfortunate Tom Hanks thing. A little Tom Hanks goes a long way for me. And Toy Story, of...
It seems the manufacturers or ornament company is making a frequent error in thinking the pig sells big. No matter how popular she is on her own, when pegged with other Muppet characters she's usually the weakest seller. For some reason, that's just the way it is.
People like Fozzie...
:zany: Disney has this Club Pengin thing and Cartoon Network has this sort of Foster's site. It's nice to see this technology being put to a use other than product promotion (not like there's anything wrong with that :attitude: ).
It's good to see Sesame Workshop growing with the times. :)
Thanks! You are, as always, a wealth of good information. I'll always be an MCer, but I check out Muppet News Flash daily. Absolutely vital resource for the Muppet fantatic!

Is there a performer/cast listing for this anywhere? Interesting stuff. After Animal Jam and other misfires, this proves to be a good mix with distinct goals! :)
I could tell Kevin Clash was the lead. Curious to the penguin and the bug. :zany:
I wonder how they'll keep them all from escaping! I see a tropical island full of Animals! :halo:
Well, that seals the third release target for somewhere around February (when it actually touches down). :concern:
I'm sure they are just as frustrated. Palisades had the same issues as do many toy companies - non Mattel (heck, they have their own problems, LOL). There is just no real-world way to tell when the shipment will get in from China. However, I wish they could provide a tracking number! ;)
I agree, it's nice to see the Muppets more than just referenced on the Henson site. The same with Sesame etc. I know that the company rights for different Henson properties have changed, but now it seems there is a sense of history and pride in their Muppetty family. :zany:
It also seems...
