Oh, I love that! I watch it every Christmas season. I felt like that was the first real 'return to form' of the classic Muppet characters after Jim's death. So many characters like Scooter and Rolf had gone unused throughout the 90s but made their returns in that film.

I'd love to see Digit return. I always liked him. I was sad to see that he was omitted from the new Muppet character encyclopedia. My wife gave it to me as a gift for my birthday and the first thing I said was, "Lets look up Digit!", and he wasn't there :(

Disney is foolish. They miss out on natural marketing tie ins. There is a brand new Muppet Movie in theaters. NOW is the time to release these old things as a promotional tie in. Release Muppet Classic Theater NOW while there is Muppet Interest (as well as Muppet Show Season 4....then tie in...

I don't see how they could ever use the number '2' when this is the 8th movie. It's not even the 2nd to be released through Disney as Disney released 'Christmas Carol' and 'Treasure Island'.

I wonder if we'll get 'Great Muppet Caper' on Blu-Ray in March to coincide with the release of 'Muppets Most Wanted'.
