I wouldn't terribly mind if it was closer to Family Guy than, say, Allen Gregory. YUCK! I'm sure it won't though. And just because it says its from Fox, doesn't mean it'll air there necessarily. I could see it being on FX or FXX or something as well. As long as it doesn't get...

Sesame Street Season 46 Press Kit; HBO premiere set for Saturday January 16, 2016

Had a feeling Murray's "Word on the Street" bit was going to go away in time. Are they still doing the Word of the day? Article doesn't say anything about it. Kinda disappointed that we won't see those Murray interacting with real people, but I really felt the Word of the day segment was...

Here's what I don't get. There's always ample opportunity to have one of the still usable characters and rebuilt for cameo ones to just walk by or fill out crowd scenes. It doesn't have to be an anniversary year to drop a mythology gag cameo in an episode.

Sesame Street Season 46 Press Kit; HBO premiere set for Saturday January 16, 2016

I've noticed a "Sesame Street Classics" bug during the EW footage, and it does come after the "hundreds of your favorite episodes" subtitle. That could mean quite the opposite. Somehow, I'd see if they did include the EW episodes, they'd be with some of the older reused episodes. Something...

    The Steven Universe thread

Well, now we see why Peridot was such a brainwashed little soldier. The same lack of empathy, to no one's surprise, is seen in Yellow Diamond, who makes her glorious debut after being teased for a while. It honestly could have gone either way, but I'm glad Peridot was Piccolo-ed into the...

Netflix, do your stuff! The Magic School Bus gets new series.

Lily Tomlin, strangely enough has a show on Netflix. Keep forgetting the name of it though.

Behold... the New Teen Titans Cartoon...

Definitely one of the better commentary episodes. Don't see why WB wouldn't let them use their own characters instead of the weird Gumball looking things they had. I mean, we all knew who the characters were supposed to be.

    The Steven Universe thread

Peridot is a loyalist to the Gemworld cause, and as such does not have any of the same perspective Rose and the Gems had. She seems to have been blissfully sheltered from any connection to what lies on Earth, with the closest thing to a human she's been in contact with is Steven. Look at how...

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

I want to say she's a writer now. I swear I saw a book with her named as the author, but it was out of the corner of my eye. Ehhh... I realized something great about how The Force Awakens is destroying Box Office records. It passed that overrated piece of crap Titanic not too long ago (would...

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

Heather Graham was a big deal in the late 90's. Now she isn't. Come to think of it, I completely forgot everything she did with the exception of an Austin Powers movie. I've already complained the heck about this movie in the "Worst CGI Films" thread. This thing looks like one of those...

Wait a Minute... "DreamWorks' Dragons"? What?

Looks like another property from the Classic Media buy out is getting a new Netflix exclusive. Voltron Since Voltron already had another American made spinoff series, I'm wondering how another will go. Voltron is clearly more popular as an Americanized dub series here than Japan where it was...

    Galavant "Thoughts"

The wackier, cartoonier gags were the better part of Boarder Town. But then I just can't not think of American Dad, especially since the show was created by a former AD show runner. AD's earliest episodes wanted to be Family Guy to the point of it being a meh copy, but thankfully it came into...

Sesame Street Season 46 Press Kit; HBO premiere set for Saturday January 16, 2016

The article says "New songs" but I'm wondering if that's just a mistake on their part. If they're going to shed 30 minutes of show, I don't see why they still need those things instead of quicker intros. Or even no intros. Eh, what's there is there, I guess.

"The Muppets" show runner exits, series to be relaunched February 2 with episodes 11-16

As I've always said, a show that starts strong falters trying to capture lightning in a bottle in subsequent seasons. I mean, look at Heroes, Glee, and to some extent Desperate Housewives when it stopped being a satire of soap operas and just flat out fell into being one, cliches and all. On...

Hot Topic is the only place to find them for the time being, and there's a reason for it. They had a special exclusive early release deal, which isn't exactly a new thing. They had the Attack on Titan Pops months before they hit mainstream stores and other collectors outlets. Only difference...

    The Steven Universe thread

Naturally the result of Steven having a birthday would have been the opposite result of So Many Birthdays. And of course he also wouldn't have control over giving himself the illusion of aging like he did with that episode. Rewatching "The Answer" I've noticed a couple things I forgot to...

    Galavant "Thoughts"

I look at American Dad and how it was mainly created because Seth MacFarline and the others that really created it were ticked the heck off that Bush got a second term. How at the beginning of the show it was just all about making fun of how much of a straw conservative Stan was, and making him...

The toyline for the bnext movie reveals Krang who was just confirmed for the film. Of course, since these are Playmates toys, you have to take them with some grain of salt. I'm sure he looks a lot more...you know...detailed and stuff in the final product. Strangely enough the figure so far...
