Hey,
So, I'm walking through WalGreens Pharmacy yesterday and they have rugby-styled shirts for around $4.00 each. Lo-and-behold! There is one that looks just like Ernie's, but it isn't trimmed in yellow. So, I bought it.
What does this have to do with anything? I dunno. Nothing...
Welcome! Come back often and visit us. Lots of good things to talk about in the puppetry forum that isn't necessarily about the Muppets. Thanks for postin'.
I had my mom over for dinner, and she brought my step-dad Sam, and her best pal Kay (who was going to have to spend mother's day alone, so I told them to bring her with 'em). I went all out on dinner, too! Of course, we're in the south, so Sweet Tea is a MUST!
Started with appetizers...
I don't think things are really any big secret. He has patterns for sell. Basically, if you follow his instructions in the pattern, you're learning his method:

My other suggestion, gang, would be to go buy some patterns online, use those to learn...
Oh, good grief. I didn't read the article in the beginning thinking it was another Healthy Foods Cookie Monster...
How could you honestly think that junk is real?
The Fisher Price Kermit puppet was up on ebay again recently. They had found some never-before opened boxes with MINT!!! packages and puppets inside. I obviously bought one.
Hit ebay, that's where I found mine, man.
Quite a few of the Ghostbuster fan forums have rude people there, and they always fight.
Now, though, there is a community created by Sebastian Clavet, who created 88 MPH Studios and this great GB Fan message board: http://www.weaverhall.com/index.php
Jerry Juhl has stated that it was just a funny sounding name, and that while writing TMS it was just a character they planned on having in the show. I think it's on one of the openings to TMS by Brian Henson when it was on Oddessey, or it's on the Time Life DVDs or something.
I wish we had a thread that kept up with what all the clubs are that were formed around here over all the years! HA!
I think Steve's now got like 4 or 5 fan clubs in the MC Community!
I think after someone makes their first puppet a better appreciation of the craft is developed!
Same as a friend of mine wanted to try his hand at puppetry. (That's a pun, isn't it?)
He did some practicing, then looked at the puppet and put it down. "This is harder than it looks!"...
From the videos on the screens during her costume changes...ALOT!
Someone who's an expert on when and shows and whatever should probably post here before long.
