I saw them featured in Toy Fare Magazine along with the other Disney ones. I'm not all that stoked about the box art, but I'm not a MIB collector so it really doesn't matter. Can't wait!:)
Thanks uppitymuppity! The article made me laugh. Maybe with a surge in popularity news sources will finally get it right just who owns the Muppet brand and maybe even distinguish one property from another. Either way we get our Muppet film (sans the underwater bit unless global warming finally...
No likely preorder for the frogboy. I'm devising a way to get him wholesale locally. :o
That way I can just pick him up (for $50-100 less) and cab him back to my place to meet his friends. ;)
It would be nice to get him at somewhere near the price of Animal or maybe even Gonzo. :concern:
:o I searched for these Kubricks and found a final box of the Muppet ones through a site where I had to buy a whole box of them just to get an entire set. The spares were given as gifts to friends who would give them a good home. Beaker was won at Ebay auction.
:search: An entire box was...
My answer to those items are already in previous posts. This mock-up appears to be a "quick fix" and will likely be swapped-out with a better shot photograph at a later time. That is still an assumption on my part, but likely a good one.
;) On Rotten Tomatoes current "50 Best TV Adaptations of All Time" The Muppet Movie is listed 10th. Now, don't get too excited until you see some of the unfortunate company it is keeping.

Just thought I'd post it. :)
I've been listening to the album quite a bit and to me this is her best effort since True Colors in 1986! She's always been a rock solid artist, but she kind of went experimental, mixed things up and was largely avant-garde for many years. :flirt:
This album has musical chops along with...
I think the Muppet Central Radio ad is attractive enough. I might make it a bit more Muppety, but it's nothing close to an eyesore and it's quite helpful IMHO. It's blue (like the forum content architecture), contains the lovely logo (I designed in 2002 for Muppet Central's rebranding), it...
Muppdate...Muppdate...Muppdate! :halo: I want Muppdate!
Personally I would like to see some Bunsen & Beaker, Sam the Eagle, Rowlf (with whomever) and some Mayhem footage. And where have Statler & Waldorf been? :o
A Little MC History
I proposed some ideas when I had the time a while back. They would have contained nice actual images of Muppets an/or been Flash ecards with either photographic images or drawn art along the lines of the Muppet Central error message featured here. I also proposed...
You're right. I think it was said somewhere by Terry that he felt the face was too low on one of the prototypes and that it wasn't evident from the first batch of pictures. This was corrected with the second and third prototypes he provided. We now know there's something to do with head shape...
:grouchy:Yes. I can agree with that and have. Although supplied - as I stated as a probability - the source likely comes from a shot already seen in the Toy Fare line up of photographs and extracted from the background. I recognize this specific shot from a series of photos. Even if it has been...
I agree. I don't know quite what's up with the cards? There's something going on that had to do with a "formatting problem" or such, but it's been a while. :search:
If that's the case then someone at MR likely used a Toy Fare snapshot and erased the background. I believe that's where the source imagage is from. It's likely a place-holder prototype picture because of the rumored problems of the factory samples. However, that could be a sample that was taken...
:o Yep. That head is off, but I think the Amazon image is a picture taken from one of the Toy Fares (not the initial one, but a later one). It was nicely extracted from the background and posted against white.
:search: I wouldn't worry about it. It's not the best photo of the bear or even a...
Hmmmm...This appears to be a popular criticism.
 Temple of Doom wasn't religious unless you count that freaky heart-grabbing-while-still-beating-in-your-chest cult. I think many people have placed an undue mandatory Judeo-Christian veneer over a simple cave exploring adventure film...
Why thank you. :o Just crummy cell snaps spruced up with some Muppety goodness (I still have lots of those puppet shots from my Palisades days).
I may have seen that shirt you're talking about. I used to have a black t shirt with a full-bodied Animal on it in black and white, but the only...
I know what you mean. Here's a horrid little modern composition of cell pics where I'm actually wearing a girl's Oscar shirt of that sort. :grouchy:
I just got the Kermit back pack from amazon. It's bigger than I would have liked. but it's pretty and if I attended classes it would be great...
