There is no postcard sequence in "Mokey and the Minstrels" (episode 31). You're thinking of "The Minstrels" (episode 18) which DOES have that Matt segment you mentioned.

Yeah, I've known about that for awhile. It doesn't contain the whole pilot, just a few scenes from it. But take it from me, that DVD is still worth every penny, even if you wait four months for it (like I had to, unfortunately).

I'm confused: I always thought Noel MacNeal was the narrator ... when did it become Wallace Shawn? Also, wasn't there a cold open that featured Sprocket? :confused:

I'd like to see a project like that too. The way I see it, it would be similar to the old Expanded Entertainment catalogue that had tape compilations of the works of one animator each. But since a DVD can hold many of these < minute-long...
I saw him last month at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. I commented on the recent Dr. Phil appearance, and that's how I found out. I also got my picture taken with him and :grouchy: that day.

That DVD also has the Elton John and Mark Hamill episodes (taken from the PAL masters, I believe). And unless my DVD player (which I've tampered with ;) ) is the kind of brand that plays any region disc at just one speed, there aren't any speed-up issues on this disc. :) In fact, I got it just...
