Yeah, the characters' delivery makes it sound like a bad Anime fan-dub that only succeeds in making the viewer laugh at how BAD it is. But it's all a matter of perspective.
You're almost right. Each painting had splotches on it, and the title of the painting was the number of splotches on it, except for the one with five splotches, which Dada called "Chicken Soup."
In "The Finger of Light" I once thought that the man controlling the marionette was "Faz" Fazakas.
And yes, that was Dave riding with Matt on the rollercoaster in "The Thirty Minute Work Week."
