I'm pleased to see at least one reply to this thread so far.
It's true that the English dub is more or less aimed at children so some people may grow out of it. Still I've always thought it a remarkable fantasy though I'm only familiar with the series as far as it was adapted by Dic.
I do hope...
Thank you mikebennidict I found a lot of them on that thread. I especially remember the invisible ice cream cone that Ernie buys and pays for with an invisible nickel. Very funny LOL
Do you or anybody recollect what those 6 foods were? And did anything else noteworthy happen?
It sounds like this was a combination tribute to the number 6 and the letter S.
It sounds like it's such a funny clip. Can anyone provide a bit more detail please?

Other parts I loved are the hecklers eating...

I suppose if I'd thought about it I could have posted in that thread in the first place. But it's good to meet you Terry and I'll...

Though technically they did do it a...
Seriously though I don't think they ought to make a second Dark Crystal movie.
Jim had designed it by intention to serve as a stand alone masterpiece and to try a sequel after he's dead and unable to argue would be to desecrate his personal vision.
Aww. That is a shame. Nothing is sacred anymore.
But I hope you don't allow this mean setback to put you off it altogether. It is a wonderful fantasy adventure. Believe me. Well worth delving into my friend.:)
