You don't. But, you can always do something that even experienced puppeteers have to do, and that is PRACTICE!
Go into the puppetry section to further this conversation in a topic I'll open up now called "Puppeteering Exercises."
Memphis had 3 at one time, now there's only one in the FANCY part of town, and it feels like shopping at a franchise...like a Fred's or Wal-Mart. It's not as "Disney-like" when I worked for them in the early 90's.
And the merchandise (excuse the great plush) is awfull now.
Not because of the chop, but because of the license rights to the song. If they can't get them or it's too costly to get the rights, they'll just cut it from the show.
I'm torn on the issue. Just like I was on the auditions thing--but, then, I heard the voices coming out of that room and they were either spot on or close enough. Everyone I talked to said they went there not just for the job, but to maintain the integrity of the charactes.

Oh. In that case, listen to your sister.
You eating gelatin or pudding? I would love some gelatin, but I love pudding better.
That's bad news about the surgery though. If they take out your gall bladder, will you be cowing down since you won't have any "gall?"
Seriously, even though...
Maybe Diz will release the specials on DVD sets? Like, all the christmas specials together on one DVD and such?
I tell ya, I do wish there were vocals to the Muppet Morsels. Then, I could work on thigns while the TV talks to me and tells me all the good behind the scenes stuff.
Sometimes rather than close a thread I delete it, especially if a request comes through from the thread creator. I wonder if that will be what causes it to happen?
I remember when the games forum got locked down a while back I lost a HUGE count on my posts, but then they obviously picked...
Aw, c'mon gang! Don't be so harsh. This actually made me laugh for some reason or another, but the picture of Evil Devil Kermit is funny to me, so was Robin.
On the other hand:
Bigbirdfan, do NOT call people names. First fair warning.
(And I don't even know if he's even still around?)
