Well, the key is posting positive and constructive posts; be respectful and you will be respected. It's simple. It's the same social skills required on a message board as they are in real-life. Folks just forget that.
The other thing, too, is that if you have had problems in the past with...
Ugh. And how. Funny as it was as a demo to show how it works, and it does work for Francis the Adorable Badger via JHC, it just won't make it with The Muppets or SS, or FR characters either. It would be...ugly.
You know, the article is about Yoda and Star Wars, actually. Not about The...
You know, if you do a "Billy the Psychic Rubber Chicken," you'll have to buy one that is already dry-rotted and very dirty. The original rubber chicken I had for years dry-rotted, so I had a funeral and buried it. Zach (Rowlf) sent me an 8x10 B&W photo of HIS rubber chicken to make me feel...
Well, I want to retract and rephrase something:
SW owns and holds the SS programs.
For a network to show the program, they will need sponsors/advertisers (that's why there's commercials). That pays for the rights to show it, delivery, blah blah blah...
If a PBS station were interested...
So, are you performing the puppets, building them (would be awesome, you're great), or what? What's your role?
Sounds awesome, though. I'm proud to know you're getting to do that!!
I don't think it's the matter of SW getting the shows out there, because shows on PBS (or anywhere for that matter) exist because of sponsorships (the advertising).
At the end of SS you see the naming of sponsors who made that show possible (Carnegie Grants, viewers like you...) and that is...
Thanks, Beau.
I recently decided that along some path MC fell off it's track, and I want it to get back on track again and be fun the way it used to be fun. Moderation of the boards have been too relaxed and folks just started getting away with things.
I've committed myself to making MC...
Yes! Best wishes, folks!
If I had the money left, I'd head on up there for a second round, I would. I haven't heard anything further about the "puppeteer's dinner" like we had in California, though.
That's a nice link. Helpful, too.
I think I'm going to one day work up a nice little puppeteering workshop for the Continuing Ed classes at the University maybe. That would be fun to teach...AND you get paid for it! :)
Well, it's just not the same as here. I've known people from church, but meeting them out is awkward. Meeting WOE in California, and everyone else, too, was just like old times for me!
Then again, I don't really meet a stranger (because I'm usually stranger than they are). :)
Snuffy's cave is in the park near Sesame Street as I recall.
I also thought the Count's Castle was further out away from SS, because in the long-shots of it, they show the castle towering above a bunch of trees. SS is in the middle of the city, so I don't think there would be a bunch of...
