It's the Cube. Also, look on a few monitors to see a full B&W view of the performers perforing the puppets at the same time. It's kinda hard to see, but you'll be able to make it out ;) There's also a clip from S&F (I think) during the "Merrel Lunch-Hunga Dunga-All Accountants Society" number.
Why didn't you say hi? A portion of The Tough Pigs crew was about 6 or 7 rows up in the middle row. Where did you sit? BTW, for an almost complete list of what they showed, check my post at the TP Forum.
Wholesome? Wow..we must teach you differently ;)
Don't forget, the Muppets did work on SNL for a year back in 1975, on a series of sketches called Land Of Gorch..SNL wirters hated "writing for felt", as they put it. But the skethes were very adult and funny. They ranged from Drug use to "Sex...
First of all, Happy Birthday, Fran! We love you!
Also, the banner is great, but I have a few corrections. Mereyl Sheep and Betty Lou are not performed by Fran. Mereyl was performed by Camille Bonora, and Betty was usually shared by Frank and Lisa Buckley. Maybe Zondra could fill in a spot?

Nope...no Kermit..and to think I woke up at 5 AM to tape it. Next time I'll do more research on other websites to confirm appearances like these. :attitude:
It definitley could have gone on. But Henson wanted to stop it before it got dull He didn't want it to last any longer than it had. After all, having a prime time puppet show on the air for 5 years is already an accomplishment. He didn't want the show to dry out. He also felt that he did what he...
Great idea, but unfortunately, it won't happen. We asked early in the line, and Henson does not want them done. No idea why. We may see George and Hilda though.
It's Sour Bird, an early Muppet originally used in Royal Crown Cola commercials. This pic is from the Ed Sullivan Sketch "Rock it To Me". I love the design of the Muppet. Thanks again Scott for the great avatar. :)
