Jane has said basically that they didn't really look too much into it because it was a local show, and at that time, they couldn't be bothered about it, really. It was the very early days of TV, where they were still experimenting with everything.
Hey guys, I found this foamcore material in my art class, and it seems like it would really work well on non-flexible puppets. Has anybody used fomacore board before on puppet mouths? How well doe it work? I cut out a mouth and tested it without grips, and it seems like it will work well.
It is the greatest non holiday SS special, but Christmas Eve on Sesame beats it out. The Broadway tribute might possibly be the best thing they did that year, or anytime after that.
I have a related question..I know Jim bought the entire Wacky Stacks inventory (for eyes) in the 70's for pupils, but are they still avaible in stores? I've had no luck finding them. I also haven't figured out the real purpose for them.
Woah, S&W is a brilliant idea. Almost everybody knows them, even non Muppet fans (the two old guys in the box). Also, why hasn't Fozzie been on with Kermit yet? They seriously desereved to be paired up again. I miss them together.
