Yay. Now thas how you end a night, with a good rousing Muppet performance.
*<3 the tour through the gallery hall, that was a nice part of the movie, even if it was during Sad Kermit's expression of angst at the pictures in his head.
And Amanda's still Scooter's GF. See, nothing to worry about...
Thankful the electricity came back. Another typical stormy, muggy, summer day.
*Waiting for the delivery monster to get through traffic so we can put groceries away and have some big burgers for late lunch/dinner.
:sing: Scheming and dreaming and plotting and planning...
Dastardly thoughts, your own flames you're fanning.
The madder you get the sooner you part...
It won't get you into her heart.
*Insert music to Dusty Springfield's song here.
You know, I forgot to ask... Scribbler's boss demand he...
*Clicks finger to shoot down... Nah, I can't do it, if I did then we'd never get Brothers and Sisters finished.
*Sneezes, turning into batlike creature. Sorry, I'll leave now before causing a plague of horrors. *Wipes nose with handkerchief, washes hands, then flaps off to home cave.
Dance Hades dance?
UD: Well, I don't know about his lordship, but the boss is partial to the old Skeleton Dance.
:batty: The Transylwania Polka or the Batty Bat's more my kind of speed.
*Is happy for the upcoming movies, less than a month for TDKR.
*Fails to notice where Newsie was in those promotions. Must have been one of the pics on the page.
*:batty: delights in counting Martians, or are they Zips from the planet Zap? (Obscure Sesame video game reference).
*Deadly sips a cup of black tea, finding it more calming than his usual green...
*Two more Martians, one female orange and another fushia reddish materialize with pixy stick staffs, adding to the confusion.
Heh, guess he's gone from a Newsman to a Pacman.
Hope they don't make Kris have to brake out the everlasting octogum of doom.
No problem, when you can is perfectly fine, and if you feel it to be too tasking you can focus the main characters you've developed. This was just another pet project on one of those days I was bored, but am glad people have found useful.
*Chucks throwing star cookie at the Martians. :zany:
The worst storms I've lived through have been:
Hurricane Hugo in 88, which has become a legend;
Hurricane Georges, in 98; and
Hurricane Irene, last year in 2011, where we lost electricity for a whole week, but thanks to the generator we'd bought the year prior, you really wouldn't have known it...
*Happy tired sigh. Finished fixing KG 124, posted some thoughts. Still waiting to hear back from Bo on that haunter question I submitted. Time to relax. Then I need to grab a temporary replacement towel and head off to the showers.
UD: I'll keep an eye out for the mail.
Thanks. *Drops dead...
Okay, after an additional go-through, I do have some comments.
Uh-oh, Fleet, you've just been called into the big bad principal's office. Behold the great and powerful Oz! And I don't mean Frank.
It seems to me that Scribbler's boss has gotten progressively nastier as the story's unfolded...
Debby? We're already at D? Well, maybe Prairie can help you with the letter the next storm will be named for. :p
Usually June and July storms turn out to be just that, rain and wind, if anything at all. It's not until August, and mainly the beginning of September we get the really bad ones...
