It must be very hard for you all Snowth but I'll say some prayers for your family and may your Christmas together still be a happy one overall:)
I have shared my latest thought with people I've talked to about the Muppets in the past. When I told them about this sketch I would say afterwards I thought it would be interesting to try the same sketch using women. Most of them found my thought very interesting and imaginative.
Sometimes I...
Er. I don't understand the first sentence about MC's resident bunyip, Gooby Snowthy:confused:
Thanks for the nice comment and maybe Muppets Tonight will come out on DVD one day. Then you'll get your chance to write your Kathy outline:excited:
This is a very bare boned outline that would take place around Season 3.
I'm getting bored waiting for other seasons to come out so I can familiarize myself with their styles.:(
Rolf is an Australian entertainer so this would be an Aussie based episode.
I'll only list the songs and...
Thanks Barry. I take it it's only the one big picture of everybody grafted into the Muppet Show Arches.
Very clever Dave. Congratulations. Looking forward to season 2:D :excited:
I'm very, very pleased to hear you had a vonderful time this year Ed:)
And the fun will continue on into Christmas. A merry merry Christmas to you and all the rest of the forum indeed.:excited:
HA HA Thanks Katie. I'm so pleased people are finding my idea amusing and awesome.
This has got to be the best thought I ever had for including in this thread:D
I hope as many people as possible post saying what they think of it.:)
(and please feel free to just post in here whenever you...
Wow. You sure love ziffeling me don't you Beth? Though you did reply directly to my post and I was replying to Caroline's post which is completely un-related to what you had to say in your post that I had replied to. So it seems like you made a ziffel that made continuous sense. If you can...
I guess it depends on what stereotypes you've predominantly grown up with.
I see what you mean Caroline though sometimes I've seen females use "eeeeeeee" on television in the negative context.
But you are probably right that most times in real life it is used as a positive happy joyful scream...
I understand what you say Beth. Especially in the case of the last pig in the lead. The other two pigs could have a mop of female-like hair added to them though. I said earlier that they occasionally did a female pig in that way with the use of adding hair to the puppets. But that leader pig is...
I suppose if they were female they probably would scream "Val-de-eeeeeeee"
as they were falling as opposed to "Val-de-aaaaaaaahhhhh."
That is traditionally thought to be a woman's sort of scream isn't it?
Congratulations on the cute ziffel Beth. And I do in fact remember that Sesame Street moment. They sure would have made very funny singing female pigs for the sketch.:D
But seriously I'm inclined to think that because the pigs were commonly presented in a male image, though they did...
I love your little un-intended pun about Karen "hamming it up" with our sketch.
I bet she would really put a lot of emotion into her character's voice during the final verse. Make her sound almost like she was crying. ;)
And she'd really sing the end bits when she's relieved that she doesn't...
HA HA I think we make an excellent pair of dorks Caroline with everything we've already said in here to keep this thread active. But we do enjoy being dorky don't we?;)
And I'm sure you would've done an excellent job helping Louise and Kathy make my wonder into a reality. I have found out...
