Just curious about some things: Do you watch any of the Harry Potter films? Ever watched Ellen Degeneres or Will and Grace? Do you like Kevin Spacey and watch his movies? Disney fan?
I agree with some of your sentiment, and understand your convictions; but, it isn't for you to condone...
I forgot to add that the costume is a mix between the live-action TV series and the cartoon. However, I didn't have a khaki backpack, so I opted for the fishing vest which I already used for outings.
I made the Ghost Busters logo on the beanie hat, too. You can't see it, but there is a...
Which is one of the bad things about being in Memphis: All the blues and BBQ you could want, but MAN! are we lacking in puppetry related stuff! We have NO good fur outlets around here, except what is online.
My costume this year is Tracy the Gorilla, mixing the cartoon and the live action TV series which I just got on DVD. Both were well done. The cartoon versions of Kong and Spencer were way off character-wise, but every bit of Filmation you'd expect!
The live action show was more fun than the...
Beakersqueedom, did you see Follow that Bird? The Dodo's children, Donnie and Marie, are jokes on Donnie and Marie Osmond.
Google her name and you can find out more about them. They were really big in the 70's.
No argument here. It was in Jim's handwriting, so I assumed it was correct. Just because he wrote it doesn't mean they made it that way, of course. After all, seeing designs and then seeing the final made Muppets is proof evident that things changed, right?
Can we post those links at the...
I really don't know what to say in this thread except that it was neither the work of Jim Henson or Jesus Christ to inspire anyone to condemn nor judge anyone around us, but to love them and work with them. My Jesus loved everyone, and that's good enough for me.
I'm opening Moderator...
WOW! I didn't expect one person to do all that much research! You're awesome! :)
Thanks for that. It's more than I knew before.
I wonder about those characters from Nickelodeon, too. I forgot about them. What was the other show with the puppet of the old security guard and the mouse...
According to one of the art-pieces Jim drew that is in the travelling show, currently in Little Rock, it shows sheep skin for Doglion's costume. Or, it could have been for Sweetums' costume. It was definitely listed.
I enjoyed Disneyland TONS when i was there. I suppose it's like living in Memphis and Graceland is here. Elvis fans around the world flock here, and I'm always, "it's just a house!"
Disneyland is special to me because I'm in Memphis. If I lived next door it's likely I wouldn't be so wild...
Oddly, not the kind of thread you're used to with that title.
I figured something like this would be interesting to discuss. We all know that the tales of Winnie the Pooh were based on actual dolls owned by the real-life Christopher Robin...
Man, I saw Rowlf the Dog in the Jim Henson exhibit in Little Rock. If I could OWN one--that would be awesome.
Good news: I'm buying a house with 9 rooms! WOOT! This is good news because now I have a place to put my Muppets!
Focus-schmocus. I'm ready for a new movie or TV series already. They need to put some Muppeteers to work! :)
Steve isn't busy enough, Dave needs more to do. David, Eric, Bill, Clash...all them fellers need to be clocking in every morning filming a movie or TV show for us. Drew, Boyd, and...
