Do NOT buy the posters from this vendor. I'm okay with bootleg scans as long as the images aren't commercially available and the quality is high, but they basically stuck a crumpled and creased Muppet Movie poster in a scanner (without even attempting to flatten it out) and printed out a...
Oh, Smurffit!
Well, the Smurf teaser just went up on Yahoo Movies. Good news is that they are going with the portal in Central Park theme, bad news...well...if the hip-hop music doesn't tip it off - it appears to have been Chipmunked. I hope there's more depth to it than this.
Yeah. The A-Team looks run-of-the-mill, but with fairly good actors in the leads. The Karate Kid looks like it has something a little different than the original, but I'm skipping that one too.
So far, the only films I can recommend for 2010 are "Youth in Revolt", "How to Train Your Dragon"...
Recasts are just how it goes and so far I think they're going very well. I can't wait to see a movie or special or something that greater explores all the characters in the Muppetverse! :sing: :flirt: ;)
Grrrrrrr. A as in Big Apple. Only the A vowel resides in the technical name for New York City.
(Muppet fans should really know the spelling of this city, one of the most influential cities in the world. I misspell many words, but this one is a pet peeve of mine. It’s not as difficult as...
100% agreed. I also liked the mannerisms. I firmly support the recasts and hope that there will be more appearances to develop these characters in time.
Really? I didn't know you worked on it! Wow! I hope this makes it to US cable. Great stuff! We just got crummy things like the monsterously unfunny Crank Yankers. Mongrels looks like a top shelf production in every way. The pigeon puppet is especially Muppety. :super:
Edwards has been such a Weinstein supporter in the past, but the company appears to be holding up the release of Hoodwinked Too and the production of Fraggle Rock the Movie. To be honest, part of me has felt that the Henson Company could have been the hold-up due to their recent struggling track...
I'm sure there will be a mixture of all types of cameos. As long as they're getting Clooney or Bale status cameos, then I'm okay with the Disney tweens poppling in here or there - as long as its ones with career longevity. ;) (Whatever happened to Hanson? Hehe. Ick :grouchy:)
I agree that many of those classic toys are better than the ones on the market today. Not even the Tonner people have gotten as close to nailing the look of Miss Piggy since the Fisher Price puppet, and their recent doll is really nice. Still, I have all three MR posers and they are some of the...
Yup. I'm hoping the main leads will include Kermit, Fozzie, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Scooter, Pepe, Rizzo and Rowlf (with Bunsen, Beaker, the Electric Mayhem and the rest of the gang heavily featured when applicable).
I just still don't think we know enough to go off on tangents about how it won't work...well, not yet. I'm giving it a chance and waiting to see the trailer. I'm pretty vicious about animated movies that fall short, but that's after seeing them. That goes for Muppet movies too!
In my...
