Build A Muppet: The Game
First, we’ll need artists to participate in the game.
This game is kind of like an “FAO Muppet Workshop” sort of thing. Each individual poster has an opportunity to post ONE descriptive element for the new Muppet character. The participating artist(s) will keep...
I want more Muppets. They've given us so much lately and now I want more. I'm like the chocoholic who just got chocolate; or the Cookie Monster who just got some cookies.
Oh, I'd love to see it, too. I don't know why they aren't putting it up on the site yet.
I love the Muppets and appreciate ANYTHING they'll give us; especailly more of the Muppets.com stuff and youtube videos they've done.
I was in e-mails with someone who pointed out that it was Steve's performance.
All this Steve vs. Artie talk is SO OLD now, gang. Isn't it? I mean, we KNOW Artie isn't a permanent replacement. It was temporary. It's ridiculous for folks to keep going on about something that is over, even...
A great pal shared this with me:
The Smithsonian is throwing a birthday bash for America’s favorite children’s television show—and you’re invited! Grover, Elmo, Abby Cadabby and their closest friends, Muppeteers Kevin Clash, Leslie Cararra-Rudolph, and Eric Jacobson will join Sesame Street’s...
That's fine; but, if it were me I'd never divulge information. I know stuff even now that I'll never share simply because i don't want it going back down the grapevine from me to who it was and cause them any grief.
I wasn't snapping at you and I apologize if it seems that way. It was...
I never understood "Super" either, but I like it. I have seen that it is an actual title in the moderation panels. Go figure. I do know that I spend more time moderating than posting as a fan around here; which I touched on in another thread.
I agree, there is craziness in all these...
Posts like this can cause someone to lose their gig. By order of elimination they can figure out who the source is and that could be problematic. I realize that we cannot post information without divulging where it came from or folks won't believe it or trust it; but, this can cause a real...
Wow. There is NO WAY for a member of moderation to clean up the negativity dispersed in the debates of this thread. People are slinging mud at each other, reported posts are flying into e-mail inboxes, second-hand "information" is being posted and a dozen posts about this has been quoted (plus...
Or "America's Next Muppeteer."
I think there should be understudies so we don't have a long spell if something DID happen to someone, but I would want the understudies to work directly with the performers. Like Vogel does with Spinney.
What if something is wrong with Steve? Suppose he CAN'T come back?
Would folks want a "Kermit Kompetition?" Like, it'd work like this:
1. a panel of top Muppeteers make the final decision on who will be Kermit.
(such as Berretta, Clash, Spinney and possibly even Whitmire.)
2...
I think this is a great idea. The posts could only be descriptions, and then someone will have to end the game by posting "Muppet Completed" and then one other player, who is an artist, takes those descriptive pieces and draws the "Muppet."
Kind of an online game with art of a "FAO Muppet...
