How can they have a problem writing for Big Bird but they can still write for other characters? I can't agree to that scenario. If they can't write for Big Bird, then they need to hire some of us and we'll do the writing, they can fit that in with the educational programming.
Thanks, Chris.
One of the reasons it's so long is that I wanted to put as much into the video as I could so folks who may never get to go might get to experience it at least this way.
Oh, no worries. Muley wouldn't DARE take "Wild Thing" back from Santa Fish. :)
Everyone's been awesome lately, it seems. No reported posts or anything. Thanks folks!
He has indeed gone through more changes than Joan Rivers. :o
Was it the 30th Muppets Celebration where he was sitting in the back with the Monsters and was a HUGE Muppet? I think that's correct.
In the Muppet Movie they ended up trading the Studebaker and Gonzo's plumber-mobile for a Ford Woodie. Don't know if that's the same thing or not. that's what they're driving when they meet Piggy and the vehicle dies in the desert.
By the way, when Master Replicas were sending their Kermit around the world (in the USA), Muley and I took Kermit home to Leland, MS. Glad to say--we were the ONLY ones who could do that. Here is a video montage of the images from the museum and around Leland, I think even including the school...
Last time I was in Leland, MS, at the Jim Henson Boyhood Museum, there were Muppets on display from Song of the Cloud Forest. They have an exhibit that changes every 4 or 6 years, I forgot which. They also have an official Kermit on display there from the Jim Henson Company when they still...
Actually, Uncle Matt and Boober could still make appearances. As could Wembley. I think, actually, all of the original performers are still active except Nelson, right?
I think anyone would agree that Fraggle Rock doesn't need to be edgy to get the adult audience in. Those who loved Fraggle Rock ARE the adult audience, and we want to take our kids to see something wonderful. It could maintain exactly the same sense of wonderment and illusion that it did on TV...

I saw the video and was not impressed this time as I was the last time. It isn't bad, but when you have folks who can't sing without digital synthesizers involved in something like this it could be better left forgotten.
I WOULD love to see the Muppets perform this.
I originally thought it was the area at Sesame Place, but it seems I read once somewhere that it was constructed for the movie. In actuality, now, I'm clueless about it.
Off topic but similar subject: I know the town used for filming the Robin Williams Popeye musical is now used as part of...
Then, what's the answer? No more Kermit? Another performer other than Steve--we saw how well that worked out. :scary:
Steve has done a great job since 1990, and I appreciate his work. I'm thankful the Muppets have had him.
Hopefully, something will work out with the way online videos...
