Few things to address...
1 Hey bro, don't dis my man Michael Ore, part of the Baltimore Ravens when The Blindside was made.
2 Of course MMW was going to be passed over. The Academy Awards only hand out noms to movies released from August to November at the latest of the previous year...
Just made a couple of changes... And I'd advise all authors to keep plugging away at their fics, cause there'll be a huge shift if nothing new gets posted to the in-progress works should they remain inert all the way into next year. :attitude:
Yeah, that's part of the problem of shooting a TV show at times.
BTW: When did Mucklemore say his fish hat cost him three bags of garbage? All through the song, or at least what I could intelligibly understand of it, the grouch who was part of Mucklemore's entourage kept spouting off about...
This episode reran today. Got to watch it, seems like Leslie's getting all the good female roles like Goozie Orman. Thought she did a good job at the parody. Not sure if that was Gina or Leela who showed up along with Maria bringing in the bags of trash so :grouchy: could have enough to buy...
Now that people are commenting on the classic-era feel of Elmo the Grouch as an episode, it makes me remember an older episode that really stuck with me.
This may have been from either late 80's or early-to-mid 90's... The episode centers around  saying "No" to people when they ask him...
Oh, that was Bill Hater, sorry my mistake. Maybe I'll feel more familiar with his VA work after seeing Inside Out this summer which I'm looking forward because of another great grouch they cast... Namely Louis Black as the character Anger. :grouchy: :excited:
Yeah, the self-regulation angle was obvious from the beginning. So all you have to do is pass a game of Opposite Oscar Says and Grouch Eye View to confirm if you're really a grouch? And the grouch cheer is giving people the raspberry?
*In booming voice: There's only one person who would dare...
Author's Note: Hope this gets me off of Aunt Ru's short list for not writing an ALS Challenge fic. And maybe it'll get some more KG posted as well.

Evening in the city, ah, think of it. Hensonville could be a bustling metropolis of Muppets and suburbanites, but it was stil...
A grouch-centric version of Back to the Future, I'm imagining the whole thing. The Puce Phlegm-mingos singing "Dirt Angel" at the dance. Present-Day Oscar jumping up onto the stage to sing "Johnny B. Bad". Doc Yellit Brown inventing the yucchcapacitor and getting mobbed by the international...
Funny thing is that instead of pushing the self-regulation angle today, they pushed the simple patterns games they're notorious for, especially since that was the word of the day.
The real highlight were :grouchy:'s memories of how he got the three distinct stains on his tux.
The first was when...
Okay... The fact that new episodes aired yesterday and today, I think we can call this the winter premiere week. *Makes note to tune in tomorrow for Episode 4516.
Heh. Told you you'd get sick of the Letter/Number Dance of the Day bits. :smirk:
If anything, I'd want Sesame Workshop to put...
Heh... P.U.gelhorn, maybe he can call :) to buy :concern:'s old one, that thing never worked right, :grouchy: would love it.
Wonder how many people will get the Goozie Orman spoof, though her name should have been Oozie instead, it flows better that way.
Another episode I missed, will probably...
*:batty: sends T a note that all we really need is her birthday, roomies and their own birthdays, and that's all the info needed.
*:insatiable: sends her a map of the mall, with a few of the fave spots highlighted.
PS: Thanks, don't really need anything from the mall, was there yesterday and got...
Hi T. Giants huh? So long as they knock that team from Boston down a peg. At least my blackbirds put up a decent showing yesterday, we coulda have won. *Moves on to next year/September of 2015.
BTW: You can send in an application in full if you wish. And I think there's a BuildaSnowbear...
*:batty: sends out a hext to people from the townhouse to join us at the club now the game's over. We'll have the organ going if :sympathy: wants to blow off some steam and some beer on tap if he needs to wet his whistle too.
Downstairs in Apt 1...
The roomies are cleaning up after a breakfast of bowls of oatmeal.
:insatiable: Ah, that a good breakfast, thank you Mr. Deadly.
Me: Yep, I love a good bowl of oatmeal with plenty of raisins, but no lumps.
:batty: I enjoy trying to count all the little raisins.
*Ed...
No worries, after all, it's still the same unfortunate outcome. Hearing the ESPN people talk about it, especially the part about how he is survived by his wife and two daughters got to me.
