A few notes:
-Think of this one as taking place late in the season, circa the Debbie Harry & Gene Kelly episodes
-Imagine Louise Gold voicing Big Mama
-In the goodnights, imagine Rizzo in a tux, top hat and tails
-In "I'll Build a Stairway to Paradise"...
In honor of his passing on Dec. 28th at the age of 69, here is this fan fiction tribute. Glad it only took 3 days to write.
Most of you know Jerry Orbach from TV's "Law & Order", but he was also one of the foremost men of American musical theatre. He was the original El Gallo in the...
-Alice Cooper (in concert, August 1997)
-Dom DeLuise (drove an hour to meet him in person in mid-September 1999- he's very nice, very genial)
-Arlo Guthrie (he did a concert at my school, EMU, in early 2001)
-Lou Rawls (front row seat for his concert in Dearborn, 9/8/01)
-Paul Williams...
Could someone tell me about this character?
I know she's played by Kristin Chenoweth, who I thought was jaw-droppingly good in "Wicked" (yes, I saw it before she left), and if she's a Muppet fan herself, that makes her even more awesome (in addition to her talents, her recording an album of...
It's supposed to hit stands today and apparently has Muppet news therein.
I can't get into the Palisades forums (not since Sunday) and the site is loading up way too slow (though my internet has been slow since Monday), so I can't find out from there.

Since my internet started running slow on Monday, I haven't been able to get into the forums. Tried to get the main site, it was loading but incredibly slowly.

Anyone seen this?

Dumb question, I know. Many of you probably contributed to it.

I know, I just grew up thinking it was before I knew anything about the show aside from having seen the "Fears" poem (hence why I thought what I did) and the scene with Zero & Sam.
As to your other suggestions, I have considered an Andy Kaufman outline but it doesn't interest me a whole lot...
That's a thought. Personally I'd probably put ABBA in Early Third Season, since there were a lot of recording stars on the show at that time.
Christopher Lee around the same time as Zero Mostel would certainly work- matter of fact I grew up thinking that the Zero Mostel episode was a...
Awwww, thanks MD! :)
Actually the Buddy Hackett one has once again taken a backseat. I am currently working on two outlines, both set in late Season One. Ed Wynn, as mentioned, is one of them. The other is... (drumroll please)... CASS ELLIOTT!
The Ed Wynn one is coming close to...
MegaCalendars.com doesn't have it, neither does Amazon.com. I don't have Paypal so that leaves me out of Muppetstore.com. Anyone know where they're available?

His "introduction" was in the Twiggy episode, in which he introduces himself as Uncle Deadly in the last backstage scene.
He was also referred to in the other episode with a melodrama sketch, the Jean Stapleton episode. Kermit says into the intercom "Wayne, Deadly, and Annie Sue on stage for...
A lot of you folks probably know this, but some may not, so I will share this little tidbit:
Christopher Reeve was good friends with a lot of the Muppet people, even before he was famous: Jim, Frank, Richard and Dave. In fact Reeve and the mother of his two elder children were particularly...
Opening number was Matt's idea, as was the S & W comment that followed, the closing number, Muppet News (which he wrote entirely) and I think the whole 'penguin' running gag too; he came up with the major text of the Rex & Bo scene, too.
I regret that I didn't give him more specific credit...
Well, some of them I never will (James Caan in particular, and probably Red Skelton, mainly b/c I don't know how to write a Red Skelton sketch). I began expanding the Paul Lynde one into a script but haven't put much into it. The last two outlines I did, Tim Conway and Jose Feliciano, I'd like...
Enough already! I cannot be forced to change my mind. Please drop it.
As I've said before, there was no reason Uncle Deadly was discontinued after S3- they just seemingly forgot about him, but it wasn't like he was consciously written out of the series. If there had been a Halloween...
