Or, "Gonzo's Fashion Show".
For those of you who don't recognize the name, Stiers came to fame as the snooty, Harvard-educated surgeon Maj. Charles Emerson Winchester III, for which he was twice Emmy-nominated. He has also guest starred on numerous TV shows, and does voice work in Disney...
Darn, I missed it. Wish there was an archive of these things, they're always so cool.
Anyone ever thought of sending a mass-signed birthday card or birthday e-greeting to Nelson from us here at MC? Not just him, mind you, but any of the Muppeteers?

Thog? Boy, I just can't fathom how anyone would be scared of Thog.
I was scared when characters got eaten. Also was a bit scared of Sweetums, but only a bit. Really I liked the monsters quite a lot.
I was scared of Hugga Wugga, b/c of the voice and his trying to kill other characters...
The name was never mentioned again (that may be a coincidence), but the camel full-body puppet DID appear again, in the Dizzy Gillespie, Kenny Rogers, and Marty Feldman episodes. In the Dizzy episode, he was in the closing number, "Swing Low, Sweet Cadillac", in an Arabian setting, and the...
See, the description I read for "Swedish Heaven and H*ll" said it was not a porn, but a documentary on the seedier side of Sweden.
The song was also used frequently as backing sketch music on "The Benny Hill Show", but it was in instrumental form (except for the "doo doo doo doo doo" part...
Also of note is the fact that Cantus, the leader of the minstrels, often takes on the role of the Fraggles' spiritual leader (Festival of the Bells, song of songs).
Also there's the fact that Cantus possesses knowledge and understanding beyond that of all other Fraggles, such as the...
How about making some additions to the outline, make it longer? You could add a Vet's Hospital, Muppet News (maybe with Jack?), a Talk Spot with Kermit & Jack, perhaps interrupted by Fozzie, or maybe bring that in later by having Fozzie do his monologue and get some help from Jack. There's...
Sorry, I remember now that RTL4 is a Dutch station, but I got the copies from a guy in Denmark. That's where the confusion was for me. It was a couple of years ago.

Isn't that a pretty similar setup to the original cowboy sketch on the Juliet Prowse episode?
As to which Muppets appear in the Red Skelton cowboy sketch, make it Whatnots, Gonzo, and Fozzie.
I was debating listing the horse as being a real one, as TMS had 'real animal' mania during Season...
Well, shows there's some hope, but then again in Europe some networks have broadcast the original openings in syndication where American stations had stopped long ago. RTL4 Denmark used the original openings, UK Nickelodeon didn't.
Oh man, I wish GelflingWaldo's source would get back to him...
Would W & W really sing folk rock tho? They only ever sang old standards and showtunes, never any of that "shameless rock n' roll" music as Sam would call it. Something to consider, you could use the same gag easily enough with a different song, like "Climb Ev'ry Mountain" from "The Sound of...
Waffling on the subject of monster inclusion. Often the numbers with the big monsters were shot in wide angles, ergo the small monsters were out unless they were standing behind something that covered the puppeteers. Dunno, I think just the big six plus Tom, Dick & Harry in a closer shot.
I...
I keep forgetting that most people don't have many episodes if any. I've got 'em all.
I dunno, I'm just sore about the thought of not getting the original openings. Isn't preservation what DVDs are about? I mean, what would be the purpose of cutting them? Jim's vision?
David "Gorgon...
A small edit:
Change "bad aim" to "astigmatism". IMO it's funnier, it's not about the fish's aim, simply spoken as 'bad aim', but about his eyes, and in fact a diagnosed eye condition. (And a big word. Big words are funny. And educational- as a kid I developed my large vocabulary...
Forgot something- the male and female Koozebanians appear in PIS as well, and only they are seen going to the stage (hence the crustaceans remark).
Perhaps it should be only they who appear in the sketch with the pigs, I kinda threw the rest in b/c they are more eerie-looking (at least the...
