David "Gorgon Heap" Ebersole
You've got the proper spelling. That's how it's spelled in "The Muppet Show Book". It may also have been spelled out in "The Muppet Valentine Show" just prior to that sketch, tho I'd have to double-check.
David "Gorgon Heap" Ebersole
No, the purple dragon who was next to Julie Andrews in the cold opening of her episode; also doubled as a lion in "There's a New Sound".
David "Gorgon Heap" Ebersole
Originally I was gonna say no, but on 2nd thought, I like TSF's idea of background chickens (maybe just a couple, ignoring the precedings).

First time in years I've actually felt like crying over the death of someone I didn't know.
Only recently, after Juhl's departure from the Henson company, did we, the fan community, take stock of what his contribution was, and how it hasn't been the same without him. He put forth not only...
I don't think I ever recorded my initial reaction to this project, so here it is:
PRAISE THE LORD AND PASS THE DOOZER STICKS!
David "Gorgon Heap" Ebersole
I'm gonna try and do this:
"Rock Classics with the Muppets"
1) "Money" (open right on it before going to the continuity)
-continuity
2) "Crocodile Rock" (Elton John)
-continuity
3) "Tenderly"
-continuity
4) "Don't Mean a Thing (Ain't Got That Swing)" (Cleo Laine)
-continuity
5)...
I was thinking "Love Hangover".
As for the others, I think any of Elton's #s would've worked, tho his opening & closing #s probably would work best in a compilation video. Similarly Lou Rawls' opening # is probably his best song in the episode (tho it's a toss-up with "Bye Bye Blackbird"...
Oh man, this is one I've given a lot of thought to, believe it or not.
1) Elton John, Lou Rawls, Diana Ross, and Gladys Knight in Rock Music
2) Jim Nabors in "Country Music" (or some other one)
3) Danny Kaye and Gene Kelly in Muppet Revue/Treasures/Moments
4) "The Rhyming Song", "There's a...
I think Eric Idle would've been perfect for TMS. He's on my (extremely long) list of fanfic guest stars, but I doubt I'll ever get to him. So yeah, go for it, I'd like to see what you come up with.
Redbone and Ritter are on the backburner for now. Cass Elliott one isn't a script, just an...
Something just occurred to me- remember how we were informed (by Karen, I believe) that the old Fraggle puppets were basically destroyed by age? This means that they'll have to be RE-BUILT. How good a job do you think will be done on them? The look of the Muppets has changed a bit as of late...
Fozzie, Gonzo, and Scooter.
We don't see them, we just hear them from the backstage area and see Kermit get hit.
Nope. Just Kermit, Fozzie, S&W, and the audience.
The usual Season Two ones- Shaky Sanchez, Droop, Gloat, Zelda Rose, duck-billed woman, Brewster, etc.
Just some...
I wonder if stars take it as a compliment or as an offense to be heckled by S&W. It's not their job to make friends, to be sure, but ya gotta admit, the Muppets don't attract the same caliber of stars they once did (the phone sequence with Kermit in AVMMCM could ring true to the real situation...
