I loved Stevie Wonder's performance of "Superstition" and "123 Sesame Street." I also liked Johnny Cash, James Taylor, Lena Horne, and all those great musicians.
For some reason, I thought the trombone verse of "I Am A Fine Musician" was Bob. I have just noticed that sometimes, Joe Raposo and Bob have similar voices.
I know, but PBS has a lot more kids programs now. Back in the old days when they did 130 shows a season, if you remember, and it was a lot better, there wasn't that much on PBS Kids. So that's why PBS has to cut back on Sesame Street. I know, it's sad.
They have reduced the money for SS to create new shows, like Dragon Tales, and Sagwa. So they had to reduce SS to make money for those new shows, which apparently, are more popular. This is really strange. They are saying that Dragon Tales is the thing that's popular right now, but they're not...
I'm afraid they probably are in danger, mainly because they keep doing less and less. For all those years, they did 130 shows a season. Then in season 30, they decreased it down to 65, and season 33, 50, and now they're down to only 26. I think this is exactly what happened with Mister Rogers...
Which cable system do you have? If you look at your lineup, it would be listed under "WUTF-66" or something like that. Check your guide or channel lineup for those call letters. I'll bet you it's there.
Good! I think I can tell you some places where you can see it, since you live here. You can see TeleFutura on over-the-air channel 66, Comcast cable channel 21 (I think in most areas), or RCN cable channel 22 (I believe). And, yes, I think it would probably be on satellite.
He does a little bit sound like the old Big Bird. But Matt Vogel's voice I can't stand. But I think the reason why Caroll changed his voice in 2 years is because people couldn't stand Big Bird's old voice. To be honest, I thought he kind of sounded like Barney!
I don't know if any of you saw the show that aired Friday. But in the Global Grover segment, if you saw that old film in the Navajo desert in Arizona, with the family walking through the desert with a herd of sheep, that was the first time that film was used since Season 24! It brought back some...
Well, as far as I understand, they still are doing some stuff, but not as much, for a little bit older kids. But when I was in Kindergarten, people didn't learn how to count to 100 until then. And what I thought was, but I guess you're right, that kids were smart enough to learn to count to 100...
He was a Super Automated Machine (SAM) who appeared on the show in the 70s. He was performed by Jerry Nelson, and whenever he were to give an answer, he would always somehow get it wrong.
Like I said, it isn't available in all areas. Just like Univision, and Noggin, are not available in all areas. But TeleFutura, like Univision, is not a cable network. I know Univision is on cable in some areas, but I have never heard of TeleFutura being on cable. I think they're only in places...
