I remember that, too. You could hear a phone being dialed. I don't know what that came from. But sometimes there may be some defect in the tape itself.
That's true. I mean, in the early 90s, when I first heard Steve Whitmire, I couldn't stand it. Same with David Rudman's Cookie Monster, and even Matt Vogel's Big Bird. Eric Jacobson does an okay job, but not as bad as David Rudman. He sounds more like Baby Bear with a sore throat.
Okay, that doesn't have much to do with this thread. But it was somewhat appropriate, because he did do the song "Born to Add," which was a very well-known song of his.
He was not a muppeteer. He was a composer/lyricist, and he did voice, and he played the piano. Chris was his main muppet...
Well, it looks like Unpaved sure is gone. And I do see your point. The teacher told me that the prom may not be the best place where people will want to talk about Sesame Street. It's a time when people are acting very grown-up. That is, they don't wanna think about when they were kids.

I actually agree with that, and I wish it was. I think it's only because the system also has some confidential information, like people's salaries, and stuff like that. Maybe they can make it available to the public, once they keep that confidential stuff private.
There's this woman at the Sesame Street music department who I talk to regularly on the phone. She has a list of all the segments, who wrote them, and all the seasons and episodes they have appeared in. It's actually on the Internet, but unfortunately, you can only access the site if you work...
I mean, they're phasing Season 30 out now, because they have Season 31. And next year, they'll probably get Season 32, and phase out Season 31. Then, they'll get 33 and phase out 32. Then they'll get 34 and phase out 33....
See, that's how Noggin is not the same channel as it used to be. See...
This would be another GREAT idea. But, would we really need Season 30? Whatever happened to seasons 21-24? If they're going to air those old shows, I think they also need to put more episodes.
