I was just in Stop & Shop, and I actually saw a video that was put out by HIT Entertainment, and it had Angelina Ballerina, Bob the Builder, Barney, Kipper, Rubbadubbers, and some other stuff I had never heard of. So I am assuming that this new channel will be very similar. Note: it does NOT...
Yea, I loved those!
There was also a very rare computer animated one from the early 90s. A dog and a woman were waiting for the bus, and the dog said that the bus would probably come in a short time. And he talked about when it was his birthday, and that he had been waiting for a long time...
Actually, I think "1 2 3 Count With Me" has "Honk Around A Clock".
You know, I saw "The Great Numbers Game", and I THOUGHT it was gonna have lots of classics, because there was a sticker that said "The Best of SESAME STREET'S CLASSIC cartoons!" But it only has 3 measly ones.
For some reason, it appears that in the early years, the premiere episodes only had one letter and one number, but the rest had two letters and one number.
When I spoke with someone in the Sales department at Comcast, I think he said that all of the programming will be coming to On Demand. Though it may be possible that it will only be available On Demand, but who knows...
He also told me that he just found out about it today, and that more...
Don't forget the episode from Season 18 that was on Unpaved where he has this barbecue that smells awful, and the adults tell him that he's gone too far, and they hurt his feelings, and he moves away from Sesame Street. But then he gets upset, and everyone gets upset, so he moves back.
You would be surprised how many of these there were in the 80s.
There was one from Season 17 where Snuffy brought his "portable" TV to Big Bird's nest, and Snuffy, Big Bird, and the kids all did the Jane Snuffle-upagus workout. Apparently, it was part of a street story with Big Bird spending...
You know, it's very interesting you mention this. The second one must have been done later. Because on the early Alphabet Chat sketches, lots of really crazy things happened, and some of them were even violent, like in the R version, where the guys dropped a radiator on his foot. Apparently...
Actually, it's from the early 80s. 1983, to be exact. The song is called "Brothers Song (English/Spanish)". And it was written by Phillip Namanworth and Benjamin Goldstein. I loved that song, too. In fact, I cry whenever I hear it now, because it reminds me of the good old days of Sesame Street.
Maybe they won't add anymore episodes, but it would be sort of nice to see all the "Unpaved" episodes again. And what about Season 25? Do you think it would have that as well?
And also, I'm not sure if it would have "The Electric Company", "321 Contact", or any of those. From what I...
I actually like that song. Somehow, I think the title is either "Walk Down Emmanuel Road" or "Fe Go Break Rock Stone." I think it's supposed to sound like a very old Jamaican Folk Song. It may very well not be originally from Sesame Street. But it is very nice. It is like one of the very few new...
So, I get the impression that this new channel is 24 hours of preschool programming. And also, keep in mind that that PBS Kids channel has NO SS AT ALL!!! I wonder why!! So, somehow, I'm not so sure that this will have old programming like Sesame Street Unpaved. :(
