I wanted to elaborate more on the fact that they practically don't show any old material at all this season. They haven't even shown anything from the 2000s, nevermind the 90s. And I do think HD might be one reason for it, and I guess it would make sense. But I still think they should show at...
I saw a preview for this on Sesame Street's YouTube channel. Here it is:

It actually looks like it should be pretty good. It looks like it includes some street stories, sketches and songs featuring Cookie Monster, both new and old. I...
I'd hate to break it to you, BuddyBoy, but as much as we would all be delighted if it were to happen, I really don't think it will. PBS Kids Sprout is meant to be a modern preschool channel with up-to-date programs that children of this generation will enjoy. It isn't meant for old-schoolers...
You know, I have actually been wondering that myself, along with Season 30. Sprout seems to have changed a lot, as they have done away with a lot of older shows like Teletubbies and Dragon Tales, and they have a lot more original series now. I know that they even showed some very early episodes...
Okay, there's something I've been thinking about a lot lately:
We all know how much Sesame Street has changed over the years, to the point where it just is not the same show again. And we all know how they never show old episodes on TV anymore, nor are they available on DVD, iTunes, or even...
I actually noticed that too, and I have to say I was pretty upset when I saw this. When the Season 33 opening came on, I just couldn't believe it. I remember when Sesame Street was in Season 33, I was very upset over the format change, but at the time, we still had the older episodes on Noggin...
I do remember this song, because it was used on the show Play With Me Sesame. I was quite surprised it was on there, because it was never used very much. It only ever appeared in two episodes during the 1987-88 season, #2410 and #2436.
I have to say that for me, I think it would be the song "Rebel L." I think the music totally rocks, and I actually remember hearing about the clip a long time ago but I never actually saw it, but then I finally got to see it after ALL THESE YEARS thanks to tape trading!
But that doesn't help me with the reason why someone blocked me on Facebook! Is that usually because of a similar situation? Can someone help me with this?
Yeah, because he shouldn't be uploading clips that are copyright protected!
In fact, I've got some advice for everyone here who has uploaded clips to YouTube. Now that Sesame Street has their own YouTube channel, you should try to avoid uploading any clips that are on Sesame Street's own...
The long part after the sponsors and before the CTW announcement originally had the credits over it. Similar to episode #2485, Maria & Luis's wedding. And I know this because I have a friend who just remembers a lot of episode numbers from the early 80s.
I can actually think of a LOT.
For once, there was this sketch with Cookie Monster looking at 3 buildings, and trying to figure out which one was the school. He went up to the building and pulled off the "school" sign so he could read it. There was another sketch with him and this kid reading...
