    Paul Frees

I haven't seen the Pirates attraction so I wouldn't really know. I just read it off a Paul Frees site. And I have noticed that Toucan Sam does have that Paul Frees tone. Maurice LaMarche is now doing Sam these days.

    Paul Frees

Thanks, Count. :) And I too have noticed that certain cartoons are now using voice actors I've never heard of.

    Paul Frees

I'm not really sure myself. But I do think Bill Scott did Fearless Leader because it sounds like one of Bill's voices. Also, I just learned from someone that Paul didn't do the voice of Heap O'Calorie in Dick Tracy. Heap was done by Johnny Coons. Sorry about the mistake.

    Caveman Days

I also remember one skit where Ernie played the caveman father and Bert played the caveman son. Bert had on a felt beanie and had buck teeth. They saw a stone DON'T WALK sign and Bert asked what that meant. Ernie explained that when you see that sign, you wait until dinosaurs and cars pass...

    Paul Frees

XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS This week's V/A focus is the legendary Paul Frees. Paul was famous for providing the voice of Boris Badenov in the old Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. And Paul did lots and lots of voicework for Rankin/Bass specials and TV series and did some voicework for Disneyland...

    Bean Bunny

Back then, Bean was added to the Muppet cast so Steve Whitmire could have another character to perform besides Rizzo. But when Steve started performing Kermit regularly, Bean started making less appearances. Kind of like how Pepe was added so that Bill Barretta could have a regular character...

    Lenore Zann

XERUS'S VOICE ARTIST FOCUS This week's V/A focus is Lenore Zann. She mostly does voices for Canadian cartoons. My favorite voice of hers was Rogue from the original X-Men cartoon series. I love hearing that Southern accent of Rogue's. :) ARC THE LAD: Announcer THE AVENGERS: Tigra/Greer...

    Jennifer Hale

Your welcome. :) The only time I ever saw Jennifer's face was a photo in Animation Magazine when they were doing an article about The Mighty Ducks series. I'm sorry, but I've never seen Cars the Video Game so I don't know if Jennifer was a part of that. She was probably part of Scooby Doo...

    What became of syndication?

It seems like today's syndiacted cartoons are now being shown on cable networks like Cartoon Network and Disney Channel. Shows like Sitting Ducks, Krypto, Hamtaro, YuGiOh GX, Code Lyoko, Kim Possible, and Lilo and Stitch The Series would've probably have been on regular channels back in the...

    Funniest Sesame Street sketches

Another skit I thought was really funny was this cartoon about ants. An ant sees a whole bunch of cakes in a bakery window. He blows his trumpet summoning an army of ants. They got into an elevator and rode up their anthill. And hordes of tiny ants started to march to the bakery holding a...
